We analyze three sets of gauge ensembles in our extended physics program of a particularly important BSM gauge theory with a fermion doublet in the two-index symmetric (sextet) representation of the SU(3) BSM color gauge group. Our investigations include chiral symmetry breaking $rm{(chi SB)}$ in the p-regime and $epsilon$-regime, the mass of the composite ${rm 0^{++}}$ scalar, resonance spectroscopy, new physics from gauge anomaly constraints, and the role of stable sextet BSM baryons with Electroweak interactions in dark matter searches. Important new goals include studies of the ${rm 0^{++}}$ scalar entangled with Goldstone dynamics in the p-regime and the $epsilon$-regime, the resonance spectrum with particular attention to emerging LHC signals, like recent hints for diphoton excess at 750 GeV or diboson anomalies in the 2 TeV range. All results reported here are preliminary before journal publication including some post-conference material for the discussion.

Several UV complete models of physics beyond the Standard Model are currently under scrutiny, their low-energy dynamics being compared with the experimental data from the LHC. Lattice simulations can play a role in these studies by providing a first principles computations of the low-energy constants that describe this low-energy dynamics. In this work, we study in detail a specific model recently proposed by Ferretti, and discuss the potential impact of lattice calculations.
Most of the analysis of composite Higgs have focussed on the Minimal Composite Higgs Model, based on the coset SO(5)$times$U(1)$_X$/SO(4)$times$U(1)$_X$. We consider a model based on the coset of simple groups SO(7)/SO(6), with SO(4)$times$U(1)$_X$ embedded into SO(6). This extension of the minimal model leads to a new complex pNGB that has hypercharge and is a singlet of SU(2)$_L$, with properties mostly determined by the pattern of symmetry breaking and a mass of order TeV. Composite electroweak unification also leads to new bosonic and fermion resonances with exotic charges, not present in the minimal model. The lightest of these resonances is stable, and in some cases could provide candidates for dark matter. A new rich phenomenology is expected at LHC.
Experimentally the existence of a light 125 GeV Higgs boson is well established but so far no other heavier resonances have been observed. Viable models to describe the Higgs boson as composite particle require hence to exhibit a large separation of scales. This occurs naturally in systems located near a conformal fixed point irrespective whether the system lies outside or inside the conformal window. We demonstrate the latter case by investigating a mass-split model with four light and six heavy flavors. By construction mass-split models exhibit a large separation of scales and feature in addition a highly constrained hadron spectrum. We present results based on the low-lying connected meson spectrum. Although the light sector is chirally broken, we show that it exhibits hyperscaling which is typical for conformal systems.
We present a novel paradigm that allows to define a composite theory at the electroweak scale that is well defined all the way up to any energy by means of safety in the UV. The theory flows from a complete UV fixed point to an IR fixed point for the strong dynamics (which gives the desired walking) before generating a mass gap at the TeV scale. We discuss two models featuring a composite Higgs, Dark Matter and partial compositeness for all SM fermions. The UV theories can also be embedded in a Pati-Salam partial unification, thus removing the instability generated by the $mbox{U}(1)$ running. Finally, we find a Dark Matter candidate still allowed at masses of $260$ GeV, or $1.5 sim 2$ TeV, where the latter mass range will be covered by next generation direct detection experiments.
We consider the strong dynamics associated with a composite Higgs model that simultaneously produces dynamical axions and solves the strong CP problem. The strong dynamics arises from a new $Sp$ or $SU(4)$ hypercolor gauge group containing QCD colored hyperfermions that confines at a high scale. The hypercolor global symmetry is weakly gauged by the Standard Model electroweak gauge group and an enlarged color group, $SU(N+3) times SU(N)$. When hyperfermion condensates form, they not only lead to an $SU(5)/SO(5)$ composite Higgs model but also spontaneously break the enlarged color group to $SU(3)_c times SU(N)_D$. At lower energies, the $SU(N)_D$ group confines, producing two dynamical axions that eliminates all CP violation. Furthermore, small instantons from the $SU(N)$ group can enhance the axion mass, giving rise to TeV scale axion masses that can be detected at collider experiments. Our model provides a way to unify the composite Higgs with dynamical axions, without introducing new elementary scalar fields, while also extending the range of axion masses that addresses the strong CP problem.
