In a previous paper we reported the discovery of super-leading logarithmic terms in a non-global QCD observable. In this short update we recalculate the first super-leading logarithmic contribution to the gaps between jets cross-section using a colour basis independent notation. This sheds light on the structure and origin of the super-leading terms and allows them to be calculated for gluon scattering processes for the first time.

Jet cross sections at high-energy colliders exhibit intricate patterns of logarithmically enhanced higher-order corrections. In particular, so-called non-global logarithms emerge from soft radiation emitted off energetic partons inside jets. While this is a single-logarithmic effect at lepton colliders, at hadron colliders phase factors in the amplitudes lead to double-logarithmic corrections starting at four-loop order. This effect was discovered a long time ago, but not much is known about the higher-order behavior of these terms and their process dependence. We derive, for the first time, the all-order structure of these super-leading logarithms for generic $2to l$ scattering processes at hadron colliders and resum them in closed form.
In the paper we propose and solve analytically the non-linear evolution equation in the leading twist approximation for the Odderon contribution. We found three qualitative features of this solution, which differs the Odderon contribution from the Pomeron one :(i) the behaviour in the vicinity of the saturation scale cannot be derived from the linear evolution in a dramatic difference with the Pomeron case; (ii) a substantial decrease of the Odderon contribution with the energy; and (iii) the lack of geometric scaling behaviour. The two last features have been seen in numerical attempts to solve the Odderon equation.
We present a new model for the hadronisation of multi-parton systems, in which colour correlations beyond leading $N_C$ are allowed to influence the formation of confining potentials (strings). The multiplet structure of $SU(3)$ is combined with a minimisation of the string potential energy, to decide between which partons strings should form, allowing also for baryonic configurations (e.g., two colours can combine coherently to form an anticolour). In $e^+e^-$collisions, modifications to the leading-colour picture are small, suppressed by both colour and kinematics factors. But in $pp$ collisions, multi-parton interactions increase the number of possible subleading connections, counteracting their naive $1/N_C^2$ suppression. Moreover, those that reduce the overall string lengths are kinematically favoured. The model, which we have implemented in the PYTHIA 8 generator, is capable of reaching agreement not only with the important $left<p_perpright>(n_mathrm{charged})$ distribution but also with measured rates (and ratios) of kaons and hyperons, in both $ee$ and $pp$ collisions. Nonetheless, the shape of their $p_perp$ spectra remains challenging to explain.
We present a study at next-to-leading-order (NLO) of the process $pp to W^pm Z to ell u_l ell^+ ell^-$, where $ell, ell =e, mu$, at the Large Hadron Collider. We include the full NLO QCD corrections and the NLO electroweak (EW) corrections in the double-pole approximation. We define eight fiducial polarization coefficients directly constructed from the polar-azimuthal angular distribution of the decay leptons. These coefficients depend strongly on the kinematical cuts on the transverse momentum or rapidity of the individual leptons. Similarly, fiducial polarization fractions are also defined and they can be directly related to the fiducial coefficients. We perform a detailed analysis of the NLO QCD+EW fiducial polarization observables including theoretical uncertainties stemming from the scale variation and parton distribution function uncertainties, using the fiducial phase space defined by the ATLAS and CMS experiments. We provide results in the helicity coordinate system and in the Collins-Soper coordinate system, at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The EW corrections are found to be important in two of the angular coefficients related to the $Z$ boson, irrespective of the kinematical cuts or the coordinate system. Meanwhile, those EW corrections are very small for the $W^pm$ bosons.

We compute the next to leading QCD corrections to weak four fermion interactions introducing a scheme that does not require an explicit definition of $gamma_5$ in $d$ dimensions. This scheme reduces greatly the difficulties in calculating the two loop anomalous dimensions; we recover the results obtained in the previous literature.
