The contribution of the radiative tail from the quasielastic peak to low order radiative correction to deep inelastic scattering of polarized leptons by polarized $^3$He was calculated within the sum rules formalism and $y$-scaling hypothesis. Numerical analysis was carried out under the conditions of HERMES experiment.

Recent developments in the field of radiative effects in polarized lepton-nuclear scattering are reviewed. The processes of inclusive, semi-inclusive, diffractive and elastic scattering are considered. The explicit formulae obtained within the covariant approach are discussed. FORTRAN codes POLRAD, RADGEN, HAPRAD, DIFFRAD and MASCARAD created on the basis of the formulae are briefly described. Applications for data analysis of the current experiments on lepton-nuclear scattering at CERN, DESY, SLAC and TJNAF are illustrated by numerical results.

The cross sections and polarization components of the $tau$ leptons produced in the charged current induced quasielastic $ u_tau~(bar u_tau) - N$ scattering have been studied. The theoretical uncertainties arising due to the use of different vector form factors and the axial dipole mass in the axial vector form factor have been investigated. Due to the high mass of $tau$ lepton, the contributions from the term containing pseudoscalar and second class current form factors are non-negligible and contribute to the uncertainty in the cross section and polarization observables as these form factors are not well known. In view of the currently proposed experiments by DUNE, SHiP and DsTau collaborations to study the production of $tau$ lepton, an updated calculation of the cross sections and polarizations of tau leptons in the case of quasielastic production have been done and the numerical results have been presented along with a discussion of the theoretical uncertainties.

We present a computation of nucleon mass corrections to nucleon structure functions for polarized deep-inelastic scattering. We perform a fit to existing data including mass corrections at first order in $m^2/Q^2$ and we study the effect of these corrections on physically interesting quantities. We conclude that mass corrections are generally small, and compatible with current estimates of higher twist uncertainties, when available.

We have carried out a NLO analysis of the world data on polarized DIS in the MS/bare scheme. We have studied two models of the parametrizations of the input parton densities, the first due to Brodsky, Burkhardt and Schmidt (BBS) which gives a simultaneous parametrization for both the polarized and unpolarized densities and in which the counting rules are strictly imposed, the second in which the input polarized densities are written in terms of the unpolarized ones in the generic form Deltaq(x)=f(x)q(x) with f(x) some simple smooth function. In both cases a good fit to the polarized data is achieved. As expected the polarized data do not allow a precise determination of the polarized gluon density. Concerning the polarized sea-quark densities, these are fairly well determined in the BBS model because of the interplay of polarized and unpolarized data, whereas in the second model, where only the polarized data are relevant, the polarized sea-quark densities are largely undetermined.
The FORTRAN code POLRAD 2.0 for radiative correction calculation in inclusive and semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering of polarized leptons by polarized nucleons and nuclei is described. Its theoretical basis, structure and algorithms are discussed in details.
