We construct a generalization of the cyclic $lambda$-deformed models of cite{Georgiou:2017oly} by relaxing the requirement that all the WZW models should have the same level $k$. Our theories are integrable and flow from a single UV point to different IR fixed points depending on the different orderings of the WZW levels $k_i$. First we calculate the Zamolodchikovs C-function for these models as exact functions of the deformation parameters. Subsequently, we fully characterize each of the IR conformal field theories. Although the corresponding left and right sectors have different symmetries, realized as products of current and coset-type symmetries, the associated central charges are precisely equal, in agreement with the valuesobtained from the C-function.

It has been conjectured that 3d fermions minimally coupled to Chern-Simons gauge fields are dual to 3d critical scalars, also minimally coupled to Chern-Simons gauge fields. The large $N$ arguments for this duality can formally be used to show that Chern-Simons-gauged {it critical} (Gross-Neveu) fermions are also dual to gauged `{it regular} scalars at every order in a $1/N$ expansion, provided both theories are well-defined (when one fine-tunes the two relevant parameters of each of these theories to zero). In the strict large $N$ limit these `quasi-bosonic theories appear as fixed lines parameterized by $x_6$, the coefficient of a sextic term in the potential. While $x_6$ is an exactly marginal deformation at leading order in large $N$, it develops a non-trivial $beta$ function at first subleading order in $1/N$. We demonstrate that the beta function is a cubic polynomial in $x_6$ at this order in $1/N$, and compute the coefficients of the cubic and quadratic terms as a function of the t Hooft coupling. We conjecture that flows governed by this leading large $N$ beta function have three fixed points for $x_6$ at every non-zero value of the t Hooft coupling, implying the existence of three distinct regular bosonic and three distinct dual critical fermionic conformal fixed points, at every value of the t Hooft coupling. We analyze the phase structure of these fixed point theories at zero temperature. We also construct dual pairs of large $N$ fine-tuned renormalization group flows from supersymmetric ${cal N}=2$ Chern-Simons-matter theories, such that one of the flows ends up in the IR at a regular boson theory while its dual partner flows to a critical fermion theory. This construction suggests that the duality between these theories persists at finite $N$, at least when $N$ is large.
A notable class of superconformal theories (SCFTs) in six dimensions is parameterized by an integer $N$, an ADE group $G$, and two nilpotent elements $mu_mathrm{L,R}$ in $G$. Nilpotent elements have a natural partial ordering, which has been conjectured to coincide with the hierarchy of renormalization-group flows among the SCFTs. In this paper we test this conjecture for $G=mathrm{SU}(k)$, where AdS$_7$ duals exist in IIA. We work with a seven-dimensional gauged supergravity, consisting of the gravity multiplet and two $mathrm{SU}(k)$ non-Abelian vector multiplets. We show that this theory has many supersymmetric AdS$_7$ vacua, determined by two nilpotent elements, which are naturally interpreted as IIA AdS$_7$ solutions. The BPS equations for domain walls connecting two such vacua can be solved analytically, up to a Nahm equation with certain boundary conditions. The latter admit a solution connecting two vacua if and only if the corresponding nilpotent elements are related by the natural partial ordering, in agreement with the field theory conjecture.
Motivated by its potential use in constraining the structure of 6D renormalization group flows, we determine the low energy dilaton-axion effective field theory of conformal and global symmetry breaking in 6D conformal field theories (CFTs). While our analysis is largely independent of supersymmetry, we also investigate the case of 6D superconformal field theories (SCFTs), where we use the effective action to present a streamlined proof of the 6D a-theorem for tensor branch flows, as well as to constrain properties of Higgs branch and mixed branch flows. An analysis of Higgs branch flows in some examples leads us to conjecture that in 6D SCFTs, an interacting dilaton effective theory may be possible even when certain 4-dilaton 4-derivative interaction terms vanish, because of large momentum modifications to 4-point dilaton scattering amplitudes. This possibility is due to the fact that in all known $D > 4$ CFTs, the approach to a conformal fixed point involves effective strings which are becoming tensionless.
We report on an intriguing observation that the values of all the couplings in the standard model except those related to first two generations can be understood from the IR fixed point structure of renormalization group equations in the minimal supersymmetric model extended by one complete vectorlike family with the scale of new physics in a multi-TeV range.

We study one-loop divergences in Einstein-Maxwell theory and their implications for the weak gravity conjecture. In particular, we show that renormalization of these divergences leads to positivity of higher-derivative corrections to the charge-to-mass ratio of dyonic black holes. This allows charged extremal black holes to decay into smaller ones, and so the weak gravity conjecture is automatically satisfied. We also extend this analysis to a much wider class of Einstein-Maxwell theories coupled to additional massless matter fields and find the same result. We then go on to study one-loop divergences in $mathcal{N} geq 2$ supergravity and show that dyonic black holes in these theories are protected against one-loop quantum corrections, even if the black hole breaks supersymmetry. In particular, extremal dyonic black holes are stabilized by supersymmetry and cannot decay.
