In this work, we analyse and demonstrate possible strategies to explore extended Higgs sector of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). In particular we concentrate on heavy Higgs decays to electroweakinos. We analyse the Higgs to electroweakino decays in the allowed MSSM parameter space after taking into account 13 TeV LHC searches for supersymmetric particles and phenomenological constraints such as flavour physics, Higgs measurements and dark matter constraints. We explore some novel aspects of these Higgs decays. The final states resulting from Higgs to electroweakino decays will have backgrounds arising from the Standard Model as well as direct electroweakino production at the LHC. We demonstrate explicit kinematical differences between Higgs to electroweakino decays and associated backgrounds. Furthermore, we demonstrate for a few specific example points, optimised analysis search strategies at the high luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) run. Finally, we comment on possible search strategies for heavy Higgs decays to exotic final states, where the lightest chargino is long lived and leads to a disappearing track at the LHC.

The search for heavy Higgs bosons is an essential step in the exploration of the Higgs sector and in probing the Supersymmetric parameter space. This paper discusses the constraints on the M(A) and tan beta parameters derived from the bounds on the different decay channels of the neutral H and A bosons accessible at the LHC, in the framework of the phenomenological MSSM. The implications from the present LHC results and the expected sensitivity of the 14 TeV data are discussed in terms of the coverage of the [M(A) - tan beta] plane. New channels becoming important at 13 and 14 TeV for low values of tan beta are characterised in terms of their kinematics and the reconstruction strategies. The effect of QCD systematics, SUSY loop effects and decays into pairs of SUSY particles on these constraints are discussed in details.
A brief overview of the prospects for detecting the Higgs bosons of the Minimal Supersymmetric Model at future colliders is presented.

A generic heavy Higgs has both dim-4 and effective dim-6 interactions with the Standard Model (SM) particles. The former has been the focus of LHC searches in all major Higgs production channels, just as the SM one, but with negative results so far. If the heavy Higgs is connected with Beyond Standard Model (BSM) physics at a few TeV scale, its dim-6 operators will play a very important role - they significantly enhance the Higgs momentum, and reduce the SM background in a special phase space corner to a level such that a heavy Higgs emerges, which is not possible with dim-4 operators only. We focus on the associated VH production channel, where the effect of dim-6 operators is the largest and the SM background is the lowest. Main search regions for this type of signal are identified, and substructure variables of boosted jets are employed to enhance the signal from backgrounds. The parameter space of these operators are scanned over, and expected exclusion regions with 300 fb$^{-1}$ and 3 ab$^{-1}$ LHC data are shown, if no BSM is present. The strategy given in this paper will shed light on a heavy Higgs which may be otherwise hiding in the present and future LHC data.
We investigate the potential of LHC resonance searches in leptonic final states to probe the $Z$ in the minimal $U(1)_{B-L}$ model. Considering the current constraints on the $Z$ in terms of its mass $m_{Z}$ and the associated gauge coupling $g_{B-L}$ as well as constraints in the Higgs sector, we analyse the potential of dilepton and four lepton final states for $Z$ production. This includes Drell-Yan production, Higgs mediated decays and final state radiation processes concentrating only on the ATLAS and CMS detectors at the LHC. We show that the four-lepton final state is sensitive to $m_{Z}$ as low as 0.25 GeV. Furthermore, setting the Higgs mixing to $sinalpha = 0.3$, this final state has a strong sensitivity and it probes regions of parameter space where the $Z$ is long-lived. We demonstrate the sensitivity at the High Luminosity LHC and comment on the potential of probing displaced vertices due to long-lived $Z$. Finally, we also comment on the strength of $Z$ and Higgs mediated heavy neutrino processes by taking into account the constraints derived.
We extend the coverage of resonant di-Higgs searches in the $b bar{b} b bar{b}$ final state to the process $p p to H_1 to H_2 H_2 to b bar{b} b bar{b}$, where both $H_{1,2}$ are spin-$0$ states beyond the Standard Model. Such a process constitutes a joint discovery mode for the new states $H_1$ and $H_2$. We present the first sensitivity study of this channel, using public LHC data to validate our analysis. We also provide a first estimate of the sensitivity of the search for the HL-LHC and future facilities like the HE-LHC and FCC-hh. We analyze the discovery potential of this search for several non-minimal scalar sector scenarios: an extension of the SM with two extra singlet scalar fields, the two-Higgs-doublet model and a two-Higgs doublet model plus a singlet, which captures the scalar potential features of the NMSSM. We find that this channel represents a novel, very powerful probe for extended Higgs sectors, offering complementary sensitivity to existing analyses.
