This paper is a supplement to and extension of arXiv:1903.01399. In the internal twistor space of the 4D Vasilievs higher-spin gravity, we study the star-product eigenfunctions of number operators with generic complex eigenvalues. In particular, we focus on a set of eigenfunctions represented by formulas with generalized Laguerre functions. This set of eigenfunctions can be written as linear combinations of two subsets of eigenfunctions, one of which is closed under the star-multiplication with the creation operator to a generic complex power -- and the other similarly with the annihilation operator. The two subsets intersect when the left and the right eigenvalues differ by an integer. We further investigate how star-multiplications with both the creation and annihilation operators together may change such eigenfunctions and briefly discuss some problems that we are facing in order to use these eigenfunctions as the initial data to construct solutions to Vasilievs equations.

It is shown that similarly to massless superparticle, classical global symmetry of the Berkovits twistor string action is infinite-dimensional. We identify its superalgebra, whose finite-dimensional subalgebra contains $psl(4|4,mathbb R)$ superalgebra. In quantum theory this infinite-dimensional symmetry breaks down to $SL(4|4,mathbb R)$ one.

We consider the twistor space ${cal P}^6cong{mathbb R}^4{times}{mathbb C}P^1$ of ${mathbb R}^4$ with a non-integrable almost complex structure ${cal J}$ such that the canonical bundle of the almost complex manifold $({cal P}^6, {cal J})$ is trivial. It is shown that ${cal J}$-holomorphic Chern-Simons theory on a real $(6|2)$-dimensional graded extension ${cal P}^{6|2}$ of the twistor space ${cal P}^6$ is equivalent to self-dual Yang-Mills theory on Euclidean space ${mathbb R}^4$ with Lorentz invariant action. It is also shown that adding a local term to a Chern-Simons-type action on ${cal P}^{6|2}$, one can extend it to a twistor action describing full Yang-Mills theory.

Using twistor space intuition, Cachazo, Svrcek and Witten presented novel diagrammatic rules for gauge-theory amplitudes, expressed in terms of maximally helicity-violating (MHV) vertices. We define non-MHV vertices, and show how to use them to give a recursive construction of these amplitudes. We also use them to illustrate the equivalence of various twistor-space prescriptions, and to determine the associated combinatoric factors.
We continue the program of constructing cubic interactions between matter and higher spin supermultiplets. In this work we consider a complex linear superfield and we find that it can have cubic interactions only with supermultiplets with propagating spins $j=s+1$, $j=s+1/2$ for any non-negative integer $s$ (half-integer superspin supermultiplets). We construct the higher spin supercurrent and supertrace, these compose the canonical supercurrent multiplet which generates the cubic interactions. We also prove that for every $s$ there exist an alternative minimal supercurrent multiplet, with vanishing supertrace. Furthermore, we perform a duality transformation in order to make contact with the corresponding chiral theory. An interesting result is that the dual chiral theory has the same coupling constant with the complex linear theory only for odd values of $s$, whereas for even values of $s$ the coupling constants for the two theories have opposite signs. Additionally we explore the component structure of the supercurrent multiplet and derive the higher spin currents. We find two bosonic currents for spins $j=s$ and $j=s+1$ and one fermionic current for spin $j=s+1/2$.
The structure and the dynamics of massless higher spin fields in various dimensions are reviewed with an emphasis on conformally invariant higher spin fields. We show that in D=3,4,6 and 10 dimensional space-time the conformal higher spin fields constitute the quantum spectrum of a twistor-like particle propagating in tensorial spaces of corresponding dimensions. We give a detailed analysis of the field equations of the model and establish their relation with known formulations of free higher spin field theory.
