For a projective variety $X$ defined over a non-Archimedean complete non-trivially valued field $k$, and a semipositive metrized line bundle $(L, phi)$ over it, we establish a metric extension result for sections of $L^{otimes n}$ from a sub-variety $Y$ to $X$. We form normed section algebras from $(L, phi)$ and study their Berkovich spectra. To compare the supremum algebra norm and the quotient algebra norm on the restricted section algebra $V(L_{X|Y})$, two different methods are used: one exploits the holomorphic convexity of the spectrum, following an argument of Grauert; another relies on finiteness properties of affinoid algebra norms.

We study the groups of biholomorphic and bimeromorphic automorphisms of conic bundles over certain compact complex manifolds of algebraic dimension zero.
Given a compact complex manifold $M$, we investigate the holomorphic vector bundles $E$ on $M$ such that $varphi^* E$ is trivial for some surjective holomorphic map $varphi$, to $M$, from some compact complex manifold. We prove that these are exactly those holomorphic vector bundles that admit a flat holomorphic connection with finite monodromy homomorphism. A similar result is proved for holomorphic principal $G$-bundles, where $G$ is a connected reductive complex affine algebraic group.

This paper provides an overview of recent progress on the interplay between tropical geometry and non-archimedean analytic geometry in the sense of Berkovich. After briefly discussing results by Baker, Payne and Rabinoff in the case of curves, we explain a result by Cueto, Habich and the author comparing the tropical Grassmannian of planes to the analytic Grassmannian. We also give an overview of the general higher-dimensional theory developed by Gubler, Rabinoff and the author. In particular, we explain the construction of generalized skeleta in which are polyhedral substructures of Berkovich spaces lending themselves to comparison with tropicalizations. We discuss the slope formula for the valuation of rational functions and explain two results on the comparison between polyhedral substructures of Berkovich spaces and tropicalizations.
For any two nef line bundles F and G on a toric variety X represented by lattice polyhedra P respectively Q, we present the universal equivariant extension of G by F under use of the connected components of the set theoretic difference of Q and P.
We show that the Nakai--Moishezon ampleness criterion holds for real line bundles on complete schemes. As applications, we treat the relative Nakai--Moishezon ampleness criterion for real line bundles and the Nakai--Moishezon ampleness criterion for real line bundles on complete algebraic spaces. The main ingredient of this paper is Birkars characterization of augmented base loci of real divisors on projective schemes.
