Given a (singular, codimension 1) holomorphic foliation F on a complex projective manifold X, we study the group PsAut(X, F) of pseudo-automorphisms of X which preserve F ; more precisely, we seek sufficient conditions for a finite index subgroup of PsAut(X, F) to fix all leaves of F. It turns out that if F admits a (possibly degenerate) transverse hyperbolic structure , then the property is satisfied; furthermore, in this setting we prove that all entire curves are algebraically degenerate. We prove the same result in the more general setting of transversely projective foliations, under the additional assumptions of non-negative Kodaira dimension and that for no generically finite morphism f : X $rightarrow$ X the foliation f*F is defined by a closed rational 1-form.

We study foliations by curves on the three-dimensional projective space with no isolated singularities, which is equivalent to assuming that the conormal sheaf is locally free. We provide a classification of such foliations by curves up to degree 3, also describing the possible singular schemes. In particular, we prove that foliations by curves of degree 1 or 2 are either contained on a pencil of planes or legendrian, and are given by the complete intersection of two codimension one distributions. We prove that the conormal sheaf of a foliation by curves of degree 3 with reduced singular scheme either splits as a sum of line bundles or is an instanton bundle. For degree larger than 3, we focus on two classes of foliations by curves, namely legendrian foliations and those whose conormal sheaf is a twisted null correlation bundle. We give characterizations of such foliations, describe their singular schemes and their moduli spaces.

We introduce a notion of normal form for transversely projective structures of singular foliations on complex manifolds. Our first main result says that this normal form exists and is unique when ambient space is two-dimensional. From this result one obtains a natural way to produce invariants for transversely projective foliations on surfaces. Our second main result says that on projective surfaces one can construct singular transversely projective foliations with prescribed monodromy.
We study codimension one holomorphic distributions on the projective three-space, analyzing the properties of their singular schemes and tangent sheaves. In particular, we provide a classification of codimension one distributions of degree at most 2 with locally free tangent sheaves, and show that codimension one distributions of arbitrary degree with only isolated singularities have stable tangent sheaves. Furthermore, we describe the moduli space of distributions in terms of Grothendiecks Quot-scheme for the tangent bundle. In certain cases, we show that the moduli space of codimension one distributions on the projective space is an irreducible, nonsingular quasi-projective variety. Finally, we prove that every rational foliation, and certain logarithmic foliations have stable tangent sheaves.
We study the branched holomorphic projective structures on a compact Riemann surface $X$ with a fixed branching divisor $S, =, sum_{i=1}^d x_i$, where $x_i ,in, X$ are distinct points. After defining branched ${rm SO}(3,{mathbb C})$--opers, we show that the branched holomorphic projective structures on $X$ are in a natural bijection with the branched ${rm SO}(3,{mathbb C})$--opers singular at $S$. It is deduced that the branched holomorphic projective structures on $X$ are also identified with a subset of the space of all logarithmic connections on $J^2((TX)otimes {mathcal O}_X(S))$ singular over $S$, satisfying certain natural geometric conditions.

We give a simplified proof (in characteristic zero) of the decomposition theorem for complex projective varieties with klt singularities and numerically trivial canonical bundle. The proof rests in an essential way on most of the partial results of the previous proof obtained by many authors, but avoids those in positive characteristic by S. Druel. The single to some extent new contribution is an algebraicity and bimeromorphic splitting result for generically locally trivial fibrations with fibres without holomorphic vector fields. We give first the proof in the easier smooth case, following the same steps as in the general case, treated next.
