This paper studies the notion of W-measurable sensitivity in the context of semigroup actions. W-measurable sensitivity is a measurable generalization of sensitive dependence on initial conditions. In 2012, Grigoriev et. al. proved a classification result of conservative ergodic dynamical systems that states all are either W-measurably sensitive or act by isometries with respect to some metric and have refined structure. We generalize this result to a class of semigroup actions. Furthermore, a counterexample is provided that shows W-measurable sensitivity is not preserved under factors. We also consider the restriction of W-measurably sensitive semigroup actions to sub-semigroups and show that the restriction remains W-measurably sensitive when the sub-semigroup is large enough (e.g. when the sub-semigroups are syndetic or thick).

In this paper we introduce the definition of topological $r$-pressure of free semigroup actions on compact metric space and provide some properties of it. Through skew-product transformation into a medium, we can obtain the following two main results. 1. We extend the result that the topological pressure is the limit of topological $r$-pressure incite{C} to free semigroup actions ($rto 0$). 2. Let $f_i,$ $i=0, 1, cdots, m-1$, be homeomorphisms on a compact metric space. For any continuous function, we verify that the topological pressure of $f_0, cdots, f_{m-1}$ equals the topological pressure of $f_0^{-1}, cdots, f_{m-1}^{-1}.$

A major motivation for the development of semigroup theory was, and still is, its applications to the study of formal languages. Therefore, it is not surprising that the correspondence $mathcal Xmapsto B(mathcal X)$, associating to each symbolic dynamical system $mathcal X$ the formal language $B(mathcal X)$ of its blocks, entails a connection between symbolic dynamics and semigroup theory. In this article we survey some developments on this connection, since when it was noticed in an article by Almeida, published in the CIM bulletin, in 2003.
We define the notion of $D$-set in an arbitrary semigroup, and with some mild restrictions we establish its dynamical and combinatorial characterizations. Assuming a weak form of cancellation in semigroups we have shown that the Cartesian product of finitely many $D$-sets is a $D$-set. A similar partial result has been proved for Cartesian product of infinitely many $D$-sets. Finally, in a commutative semigroup we deduce that $D$-sets (with respect to a F{o}lner net) are $C$-sets.

Morita equivalence of twisted inverse semigroup actions and discrete twisted partial actions are introduced. Morita equivalent actions have Morita equivalent crossed products.
Given an action of a group $Gamma$ on a measure space $Omega$, we provide a sufficient criterion under which two sets $A, Bsubseteq Omega$ are measurably equidecomposable, i.e., $A$ can be partitioned into finitely many measurable pieces which can be rearranged using the elements of $Gamma$ to form a partition of $B$. In particular, we prove that every bounded measurable subset of $R^n$, $nge 3$, with non-empty interior is measurably equidecomposable to a ball via isometries. The analogous result also holds for some other spaces, such as the sphere or the hyperbolic space of dimension $nge 2$.
