We use flat-space holography to calculate the mutual information and the 3-partite information of a two-dimensional BMS-invariant field theory (BMSFT$_2$). This theory is the putative holographic dual of the three-dimensional asymptotically flat spacetimes. We find a bound in which entangling transition occurs for zero and finite temperature BMSFTs. We also show that the holographic 3-partite information is always non-positive which indicates that the holographic mutual information is monogamous.

Holographic mutual and tripartite information have been studied in a non-conformal background. We have investigated how these observables behave as the energy scale and number of degrees of freedom vary. We have found out that the effect of degrees of freedom and energy scale is opposite. Moreover, it has been observed that the disentangling transition occurs at large distance between sub-systems in non-conformal field theory independent of l. The mutual information in a non-conformal background remains also monogamous.

We study the time evolution of holographic mutual and tripartite information for a zero temperature $CFT$, derives to a non-relativistic thermal Lifshitz field theory by a quantum quench. We observe that the symmetry breaking does not play any role in the phase space, phase of parameters of sub-systems, and the length of disentangling transition. Nevertheless, mutual and tripartite information indeed depend on the rate of symmetry breaking. We also find that for large enough values of $delta t$ the quantity $t_{eq}delta t^{-1}$, where $delta t$ and $t_{eq}$ are injection time and equilibration time respectively, behaves universally, $i.e.$ its value is independent of length of separation between sub-systems. We also show that tripartite information is always non-positive during the process indicates that mutual information is monogamous.
We derive the property of strong superadditivity of mutual information arising from the Markov property of the vacuum state in a conformal field theory and strong subadditivity of entanglement entropy. We show this inequality encodes unitarity bounds for different types of fields. These unitarity bounds are precisely the ones that saturate for free fields. This has a natural explanation in terms of the possibility of localizing algebras on null surfaces. A particular continuity property of mutual information characterizes free fields from the entropic point of view. We derive a general formula for the leading long distance term of the mutual information for regions of arbitrary shape which involves the modular flow of these regions. We obtain the general form of this leading term for two spheres with arbitrary orientations in spacetime, and for primary fields of any tensor representation. For free fields we further obtain the explicit form of the leading term for arbitrary regions with boundaries on null cones.

The formalism of Holographic Space-time (HST) is a translation of the principles of Lorentzian geometry into the language of quantum information. Intervals along time-like trajectories, and their associated causal diamonds, completely characterize a Lorentzian geometry. The Bekenstein-Hawking-Gibbons-t Hooft-Jacobson-Fischler-Susskind-Bousso Covariant Entropy Principle, equates the logarithm of the dimension of the Hilbert space associated with a diamond to one quarter of the area of the diamonds holographic screen, measured in Planck units. The most convincing argument for this principle is Jacobsons derivation of Einsteins equations as the hydrodynamic expression of this entropy law. In that context, the null energy condition (NEC) is seen to be the analog of the local law of entropy increase. The quantum version of Einsteins relativity principle is a set of constraints on the mutual quantum information shared by causal diamonds along different time-like trajectories. The implementation of this constraint for trajectories in relative motion is the greatest unsolved problem in HST. The other key feature of HST is its claim that, for non-negative cosmological constant or causal diamonds much smaller than the asymptotic radius of curvature for negative c.c., the degrees of freedom localized in the bulk of a diamond are constrained states of variables defined on the holographic screen. This principle gives a simple explanation of otherwise puzzling features of BH entropy formulae, and resolves the firewall problem for black holes in Minkowski space. It motivates a covariant version of the CKNcite{ckn} bound on the regime of validity of quantum field theory (QFT) and a detailed picture of the way in which QFT emerges as an approximation to the exact theory.
In this paper, we study how quantum correlation between subsystems changes in time by investigating time evolution of mutual information and logarithmic negativity in two protocols of mass quench. Hamiltonian in both protocols is for 2-dimensional free scalar theory with time-dependent mass: the mass in one case decreases monotonically and vanishes asymptotically (ECP), and that in the other decreases monotonically before t = 0, but increases monotonically afterward, and becomes constant asymptotically (CCP). We study the time evolution of the quantum correlations under those protocols in two different limits of the mass quench; fast limit and slow limit depending on the speed with which the mass is changed. We obtain the following two results: (1) For the ECP, we find that the time evolution of logarithmic negativity is, when the distance between the two subsystems is large enough, well-interpreted in terms of the propagation of relativistic particles created at a time determined by the limit of the quench we take. On the other hand, the evolution of mutual information in the ECP depends not only on the relativistic particles but also on slowly-moving particles. (2) For the CCP, both logarithmic negativity and mutual information oscillate in time after the quench. When the subsystems are well-separated, the oscillation of the quantum correlations in the fast limit is suppressed, and the time evolution looks similar to that under the ECP in the fast limit.
