Determinations of the couplings of $N N (n pi) (n geq 1)$ are reported. The study is based on both a quark model of nucleon and a chiral field theory of mesons. The coupling of $N N pi$ is predicted and is in agreement with current value. It shows that the coupling $ N N 2 pi $ is resulted in the nature that pion is a Goldstone boson. The couplings of $N N (n pi) (n geq 2)$ are predicted by this approach.

I present derivation of Luschers finite size formula for the elastic $Npi$ and the $NN$ scattering system for several angular momenta from the relativistic quantum field theory.
In the N=1 four-dimensional new-minimal supergravity framework, we supersymmetrise the coupling of the scalar kinetic term to the Einstein tensor. This coupling, although introduces a non-minimal derivative interaction of curvature to matter, it does not introduce harmful higher-derivatives. For this construction, we employ off-shell chiral and real linear multiplets. Physical scalars are accommodated in the chiral multiplet whereas curvature resides in a linear one.
We investigate the subradiance properties of $ngeq 2$ multilevel fermionic atoms loaded into the lowest motional level of a single trap (e.g.~a single optical lattice site or an optical tweezer). As pointed out in our previous work [arXiv:1907.05541], perfectly dark subradiant states emerge from the interplay between fermionic statistics and dipolar interactions. While in [arXiv:1907.05541] we focused on the $n=2$ case, here we provide an in-depth analysis of the single-site dark states for generic filling $n$, and show a tight connection between generic dark states and total angular momentum eigenstates. We show how the latter can also be used to understand the full eigenstate structure of the single-site problem, which we analyze numerically. Apart from this, we discuss two possible schemes to coherently prepare dark states using either a Raman transition or an external magnetic field to lift the Zeeman degeneracy. Although the analysis focuses on the single-site problem, we show that multi-site dark states can be trivially constructed in any geometry out of product states of single-site dark states. Finally, we discuss some possible implementations with alkaline-earth(-like) atoms such as $^{171}$Yb or $^{87}$Sr loaded into optical lattices, where they could be used for potential applications in quantum metrology and quantum information.

A famous example of gauge/gravity duality is the result that the entropy density of strongly coupled ${cal N}=4$ SYM in four dimensions for large N is exactly 3/4 of the Stefan-Boltzmann limit. In this work, I revisit the massless O(N) model in 2+1 dimensions, which is analytically solvable at finite temperature $T$ for all couplings $lambda$ in the large N limit. I find that the entropy density monotonically decreases from the Stefan-Boltzmann limit at $lambda=0$ to exactly 4/5 of the Stefan-Boltzmann limit at $lambda=infty$. Calculating the retarded energy-momentum tensor correlator in the scalar channel at $lambda=infty$, I find that it has two logarithmic branch cuts originating at $omega=pm 4 T ln frac{1+sqrt{5}}{2}$, but no singularities in the whole complex frequency plane. I show that the ratio 4/5 and the location of the branch points both are universal within a large class of bosonic CFTs in 2+1 dimensions.
We embed general solutions to 4D Einstein-Maxwell theory into $mathcal{N} geq 2$ supergravity and study quadratic fluctuations of the supergravity fields around the background. We compute one-loop quantum corrections for all fields and show that the $c$-anomaly vanishes for complete $mathcal{N}=2$ multiplets. Logarithmic corrections to the entropy of Kerr-Newman black holes are therefore universal and independent of black hole parameters.
