In this paper we address the relationship between Gromov-Hausdorff limits and intrinsic flat limits of complete Riemannian manifolds. In cite{SormaniWenger2010, SormaniWenger2011}, Sormani-Wenger show that for a sequence of Riemannian manifolds with nonnegative Ricci curvature, a uniform upper bound on diameter, and non-collapsed volume, the intrinsic flat limit exists and agrees with the Gromov-Hausdorff limit. This can be viewed as a non-cancellation theorem showing that for such sequences, points dont cancel each other out in the limit. Here we prove a similar no-cancellation theorem, replacing the assumption of nonnegative Ricci curvature with a two-sided bound on Ricci curvature. This version corrects a mistake in the previous version of this paper (where we assume only an arbitrary lower Ricci bound) which was due to a crucial error in one of our supporting theorems for that argument.

In this paper we prove convergence and compactness results for Ricci flows with bounded scalar curvature and entropy. More specifically, we show that Ricci flows with bounded scalar curvature converge smoothly away from a singular set of codimension $geq 4$. We also establish a general form of the Hamilton-Tian Conjecture, which is even true in the Riemannian case. These results are based on a compactness theorem for Ricci flows with bounded scalar curvature, which states that any sequence of such Ricci flows converges, after passing to a subsequence, to a metric space that is smooth away from a set of codimension $geq 4$. In the course of the proof, we will also establish $L^{p < 2}$-curvature bounds on time-slices of such flows.
We survey some recent developments in the study of collapsing Riemannian manifolds with Ricci curvature bounded below, especially the locally bounded Ricci covering geometry and the Ricci flow smoothing techniques. We then prove that if a Calabi-Yau manifold is sufficiently volume collapsed with bounded diameter and sectional curvature, then it admits a Ricci-flat Kahler metrictogether with a compatible pure nilpotent Killing structure: this is related to an open question of Cheeger, Fukaya and Gromov.

In this paper we prove a compactness result for Ricci flows with bounded scalar curvature and entropy. It states that given any sequence of such Ricci flows, we can pass to a subsequence that converges to a metric space which is smooth away from a set of codimension $geq 4$. The result has two main consequences: First, it implies that singularities in Ricci flows with bounded scalar curvature have codimension $geq 4$ and, second, it establishes a general form of the Hamilton-Tian Conjecture, which is even true in the Riemannian case. In the course of the proof, we will also establish the following results: $L^{p < 4}$ curvature bounds, integral bounds on the curvature radius, Gromov-Hausdorff closeness of time-slices, an $varepsilon$-regularity theorem for Ricci flows and an improved backwards pseudolocality theorem.

The equivariant Gromov--Hausdorff convergence of metric spaces is studied. Where all isometry groups under consideration are compact Lie, it is shown that an upper bound on the dimension of the group guarantees that the convergence is by Lie homomorphisms. Additional lower bounds on curvature and volume strengthen this result to convergence by monomorphisms, so that symmetries can only increase on passing to the limit.
In this paper we provide some local and global splitting results on complete Riemannian manifolds with nonnegative Ricci curvature. We achieve the splitting through the analysis of some pointwise inequalities of Modica type which hold true for every bounded solution to a semilinear Poisson equation. More precisely, we prove that the existence of a nonconstant bounded solution $u$ for which one of the previous inequalities becomes an equality at some point leads to the splitting results as well as to a classification of such a solution $u$.
