At the Large Hadron Collider, we prove the feasibility to detect pair production of the lightest CP-even Higgs boson h of a Type II 2-Higgs Doublet Model through the process q bar q --> Vhh (Higgs-strahlung, V=W+-,Z), in presence of two h --> b bar b decays. We also show that, through such production and decay channels, one has direct access to the following Higgs self-couplings, thus enabling one to distinguish between a standard and the Supersymmetric version of the above model: lambda_(Hhh) -- which constrains the form of the Higgs potential -- as well as lambda_(W+- H+- h) and lambda_(Z A h) -- which are required by gauge invariance. Unfortunately, such claims cannot be extended to the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, where the extraction of the same signals is impossible.

At the Large Hadron Collider, we prove the feasibility to detect pair production of the lightest CP-even Higgs boson $h$ of Type II 2-Higgs Doublet Models through $q q^{()}to q q^{()} {hh}$ (vector-boson fusion). We also show that, through the $hhto 4b$ decay channel in presence of heavy-flavour tagging, further exploiting forward/backward jet sampling, one has direct access to the $lambda_{Hhh}$ triple Higgs coupling -- which constrains the form of the Higgs potential.
We analyze the Two-Higgs-Doublet Models (2HDMs) of Type I and II for consistency with the latest measurements of the ~125.5 GeV Higgs-like signal at the LHC. To this end, we perform scans of the 2HDM parameter space taking into account all relevant pre-LHC constraints as well as the most recent limits coming from searches for heavy Higgs-like states at the LHC. The current status of the 2HDMs of Type I and II is discussed assuming that the observed 125.5 GeV state is one of the two CP-even Higgs bosons, either the lighter h or the heavier H. Implications for future experiments, including expectations regarding other lighter or heavier Higgs bosons are given. The possible importance of heavier Higgs bosons feeding the signals for the 125.5 GeV state is also evaluated.
We review the most relevant LHC searches at $sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV looking for low mass bosons arising from exotic decay of the Standard Model Higgs and highlighting their impact on both supersymmetric and not supersymmetric Beyond the Standard Model scenarios.
We present the cross section for $e^{+}e^{-}to hZ$ with arbitrary sets of electron and $Z$ boson polarizations at the full next-to-leading order in various extended Higgs models, such as the Higgs singlet model (HSM), the inert doublet model (IDM) and the two Higgs doublet model (2HDM). We systematically perform complete one-loop calculations to the helicity amplitudes in the on-shell renormalization scheme, and present the full analytic results as well as numerical evaluations. The deviation $Delta R^{hZ}$ in the total cross section from its standard model (SM) prediction is comprehensively analyzed, and the differences among these models are discussed in details. We find that new physics effects appearing in the renormalized $hZZ$ vertex almost govern the behavior of $Delta R^{hZ}$, and it takes a negative value in most cases. The possible size of $Delta R^{hZ}$ reaches several percent under the theoretical and experimental bounds. We also analyze the deviation $Delta R^{hZ}_{XY}$ in the total cross section times decay branching ratios of the discovered Higgs boson by utilizing the $texttt{H-COUP}$ program. It is found that the four types of 2HDMs can be discriminated by analyzing the correlation between $Delta R^{hZ}_{tautau}$ and $Delta R^{hZ}_{bb}$ and those between $Delta R^{hZ}_{tautau}$ and $Delta R^{hZ}_{cc}$. Furthermore, the HSM and the IDM can be discriminated from the 2HDMs by measuring $Delta R^{hZ}_{WW}$. These signatures can be tested by precision measurements at future Higgs factories such as the International Linear Collider.
We update the constraints on Two-Higgs-Doublet Models of Type I and II discussed in arXiv:1405.3584 using the latest LHC measurements of the ~125.5 GeV Higgs signal as of Summer 2014. We provide explicit comparisons of the results before and after the Summer 2014 ATLAS and CMS updates. Overall, the changes with respect to arXiv:1405.3584 are rather small; to a large extent this is due to the fact that both the ATLAS and the CMS updates of the $gammagamma$ decay mode moved closer to SM expectations.
