This article presents and grounds (i.e. presents proof of the existence, the truth, the self-consistence and the completeness of)the informational conception (the Information as Absolute conception)in physics and philosophy. the conception defines the information as an ultimately common, real and fundamental concept/phenomenon - Absolute, which exists as anabsolutely infinite set (Information Set) of elements (members) and informational (e.g., logical) linksbetween the elements; where any element itself is some informational structure also. Correspondingly, for example, Matter as the substence, radiation, etc., is some development or realization of informational patterns, constituting a specific - and practically infinitesimal comparing to the Set - subset of the Information Set. The conception allows for the resolution, or at least for a consideration on a higher level of comprehension, of the basic ontological and epistemological problems in philosophy and natural sciences; in physics it allows to suggest reasonable model, which makes more clear basic phisical notions,such as space, time, matter, etc.
The neutrino oscillations probabilities depend on mass squared differences; in the case of 3-neutrino mixing, there are two independent differences, which have been measured experimentally. In order to calculate the absolute masses of neutrinos, we have conjectured a third relation, in the form of a sum of squared masses. The calculated masses look plausible and are in good agreement with the upper bounds coming from astrophysics.
Recently (arXiv:1101.0973), it has been pointed out by us that the possible variation in any source (S) specific elemental isotopic (viz. 2H/1H) abundance ratio SR can more accurately be assessed by its absolute estimate Sr [viz. as (Sr - DR), with D as a standard-source] than by either corresponding measured-relative (S/W-DELTA) estimate ([Sr/Wr] - 1) or DELTA-scale-converted-relative (S/D-DELTA) estimate ([Sr/DR] - 1). Here, we present the fundamentals behind scale-conversion, thereby enabling to understand why at all Sr should be the source- and/ or variation-characterizing key, i.e. why different lab-specific results should be more closely comparable as absolute estimates (SrLab1, SrLab2) than as desired-relative (S/D-DELTALab1, S/D-DELTALab2) estimates. Further, the study clarifies that: (i) the DELTA-scale-conversion (S/W-DELTA into S/D-DELTA, even with the aid of calibrated auxiliary-reference-standard(s) Ai(s)) cannot make the estimates (as S/D-DELTA, and thus Sr) free of the measurement-reference W; (ii) the employing of (increasing number of) Ai-standards should cause the estimates to be rather (increasingly) inaccurate and, additionally, Ai(s)-specific; and (iii) the S/D-DELTA-estimate may, specifically if S happens to be very close to D in isotopic composition (IC), even misrepresent S; but the corresponding Sr should be very accurate. However, for S and W to be increasingly closer in IC, the S/D-DELTA-estimate and also Sr are shown to be increasingly accurate, irrespective of whether the S/W-DELTA-measurement accuracy could thus be improved or not. Clearly, improvement in measurement-accuracy should ensure additional accuracy in results.
We examine two far-reaching and somewhat heretic consequences of General Relativity. (i) It requires a cosmology which includes a preferred rest frame, absolute space and time. (ii) A rotating universe and time travel are strict solutions of General Relativity.
Due to the self-referencing aspect, consciousness is placed in a unique non-computable position among natural phenomena. Non-computable consciousness was previously analyzed on the basis of self-referential cyclical time. This paper extends the cyclical model of vacuum observation and posits that choice, or the experience of reality, may be expressed as the initial part of the self-referencing loop, while the conscious awareness of the experience is the other part of the loop. In particular, the inseparability of the two sides of the loop is established through the cyclical time process, which bears a resemblance to Heideggers analysis of existence. The cyclical looping model is also discussed in terms of Wittgensteins analysis of language as attaching semantic meaning, or continuous or infinite conscious awareness, to physical reality. We also discuss the proposed model of subjectivity and cyclical time - as opposed to objectivity and linear time - which may be considered similar to Hebrew thought.
With the KATRIN experiment, the determination of the absolute neutrino mass scale down to cosmologically favored values has come into reach. We show that this measurement provides the missing link between the Standard Model and the dark sector in scotogenic models, where the suppression of the neutrino masses is economically explained by their only indirect coupling to the Higgs field. We determine the linear relation between the electron neutrino mass and the scalar coupling $lambda_5$ associated with the dark neutral scalar mass splitting to be $lambda_5=3.1times10^{-9} m_{ u_e}/$eV. This relation then induces correlations among the DM and new scalar masses and their Yukawa couplings. Together, KATRIN and future lepton flavor violation experiments can then probe the fermion DM parameter space, irrespective of the neutrino mass hierarchy and CP phase.
