The results of data handling for E-184 experiment obtained with 70 GeV proton beam irradiation of active target with carbon, silicon and lead plates are presented. Two-prongs neutral charmed D0 and v{D}0 -mesons decays were selected. Signal / background ratio was (51+/-17) / (38+/-13). Registration efficiency for mesons was defined and evaluation for charm production cross section at threshold energy is presented: sigma(c^c) = 7.1 +/- 2.4(stat.) +/- 1.4(syst.) (mu/nucleon).

The results of the SERP-E-184 experiment at the U-70 accelerator (IHEP, Protvino) are presented. Interactions of the 70 GeV proton beam with carbon, silicon and lead targets were studied to detect decays of charmed $D^0$, $bar D^0$, $D^+$, $D^-$ mesons and $Lambda_c^+$ baryon near their production threshold. Measurements of lifetimes and masses have shown a good agreement with PDG data. The inclusive cross sections of charm production and their A-dependencies have been obtained. The yields of these particles are compared with the theoretical predictions and the data of other experiments. The measured cross section of the total open charm production $sigma(cbar c) = 7.1 pm 2.3(stat) pm 1.4(syst)$ $mu$b/nucleon at the collision c.m. energy $surd s$ = 11.8 GeV is well above the QCD model predictions. The contributions of different kinds of charmed particles to the total cross section of the open charm production in proton-nucleus interactions vary with energy.
The results of treatment of data obtained in the SERP-E-184experiment Investigation of mechanisms of the production of charmed particles in proton-nucleus interactions at 70 GeV and their decays by irradiating the active target of the SVD-2 facility consisting of carbon, silicon, and lead plates, are presented. After separating a signal from the two-particle decay of neutral charmed mesons and estimating the cross section for charm production at a threshold energy {sigma}(cv{c})=7.1 pm 2.4(stat.) pm 1.4(syst.) mub/nucleon, some properties of D mesons are investigated. These include the dependence of the cross section on the target mass number (its A dependence); the behavior of the differential cross sections d{sigma}/dpt2 and d{sigma}/dxF; and the dependence of the parameter {alpha} on the kinematical variables xF, pt2, and plab. The experimental results in question are compared with predictions obtained on the basis of the FRITIOF7.02 code.

We report on the SVD-2 experiment data analysis aimed to search for an exotic baryon state, the $Theta^+$-baryon, in a $pK^0_s$ decay mode with IHEP U-70 accelerator proton beam at $70 GeV/c$. A resonant structure with $M=1526pm3(stat.)pm 3(syst.)~MeV/c^2$ and $Gamma < 24 MeV/c^2$ was found in the $pK^0_s$ invariant mass spectrum, with the statistical significance of this peak estimated as $5.6~sigma$.
The results of analysis SERP-E-184 experiment data, obtained with 70 GeV proton beam irradiation of active target with carbon, silicon and lead plates are presented. For 3-prongs charged charmed mesons decays, event selection criteria were developed and detection efficiency was calculated with detailed simulation using FRITIOF7.02 and GEANT3.21 programs. Signals of decays were found and charm production inclusive cross sections estimated at near threshold energy. The lifetimes and A-dependence of cross section were measured. Yields of D mesons and their ratios in comparison with data of other experiments and theoretical predictions are presented.

SVD-2 experiment data have been analyzed to search for an exotic baryon state, the $Theta^+$-baryon, in a $pK^0_s$ decay mode at $70 GeV/c$ on IHEP accelerator. The reaction $pA to pK^0_s+X$ with a limited multiplicity was used in the analysis. The $pK^0_s$ invariant mass spectrum shows a resonant structure with $M=1526pm3(stat.)pm 3(syst.) MeV/c^2$ and $Gamma < 24 MeV/c^2$. The statistical significance of this peak was estimated to be of $5.6 sigma$. The mass and width of the resonance is compatible with the recently reported $Theta^+$- baryon with positive strangeness which was predicted as an exotic pentaquark ($uuddbar{s}$) baryon state. The total cross section for $Theta^+$ production in pN-interactions for $X_Fge 0$ was estimated to be $(30div120) mu b$ and no essential deviation from A-dependence for inelastic events $(sim A^{0.7})$ was found.
