The Fermilab Tevatron colliders data-taking run ended in September 2011, yielding a dataset with rich scientific potential. The CDF and D0 experiments each have approximately 9 PB of collider and simulated data stored on tape. A large computing infrastructure consisting of tape storage, disk cache, and distributed grid computing for physics analysis with the Tevatron data is present at Fermilab. The Fermilab Run II data preservation project intends to keep this analysis capability sustained through the year 2020 and beyond. To achieve this goal, we have implemented a system that utilizes virtualization, automated validation, and migration to new standards in both software and data storage technology and leverages resources available from currently-running experiments at Fermilab. These efforts have also provided useful lessons in ensuring long-term data access for numerous experiments, and enable high-quality scientific output for years to come.
Data from high-energy physics (HEP) experiments are collected with significant financial and human effort and are mostly unique. An inter-experimental study group on HEP data preservation and long-term analysis was convened as a panel of the International Committee for Future Accelerators (ICFA). The group was formed by large collider-based experiments and investigated the technical and organisational aspects of HEP data preservation. An intermediate report was released in November 2009 addressing the general issues of data preservation in HEP. This paper includes and extends the intermediate report. It provides an analysis of the research case for data preservation and a detailed description of the various projects at experiment, laboratory and international levels. In addition, the paper provides a concrete proposal for an international organisation in charge of the data management and policies in high-energy physics.

New results on inclusive production of Sigma^- and Lambda(1520) and on proton production in quark and gluon jets are presented. These results are based on 2 million hadronic Z decays collected with the DELPHI detector at LEP. They are compared with the results of other LEP experiments and with models. It has been shown that the total production rates of all light-flavour hadrons measured so far at LEP 1 follow phenomenological laws related to the spin, isospin, strangeness and mass of the particles. A significant proton enhancement in gluon jets is observed, indicating that baryon production proceeds directly from colour objects.

In its second phase, LEP has given the unique opportunity to study four fermion processes never observed before. This papers deals with a preliminary study of $WW$, $We u$, $ZZ$ and $Zgamma^star$ production in $e^+e^-$ collisions. Measurement results on $WW$ cross section, $W$ branching fractions, $WWV$ ($V=Z/gamma$) anomalous couplings and $W$ average polarization in $WW$ events are presented. Moreover cross section measurements for $We u$, $ZZ$ and $Zgamma^star$ production and limits on $ZZZ$ and $ZZgamma$ anomalous couplings are reported. All the results are in good agreement with the Standard Model expectations.
