نُفذت تجربة مخبرية في مخابر قسم المحاصيل الحقلية، كلية الزراعة جامعة دمشق، خلال العام 2011 بهدف تقييم التباين في استجابة بعض طرز العدس لتحمل الإجهاد الحلولي على مستوى البادرة الفتية.
