تضمن البحث تحديداً لبعض أنواع بعوض تحت الفصيلة Culicinae المنتشرة في جنـوب سـورية،
بينت الدراسة وجود 14 نوعاً ثلاثة منها تسجل أول مرة في منطقة الدراسة و تنتمي لجنس Culex هـي:
( Culex perexiguus , Cx. sinaiticus , Cx. territans ).
تم وصفها و إيضاحها و بيان صفاتها المميزة، كما درست مواسم التكاثر و النماذج البيئيـة الملائمـة
لتكاثرها.
