There is growing notion that black holes may not contain curvature singularities (and that indeed nature in general may abhor such spacetime defects). This notion could have implications on our understanding of the evolution of primordial black holes (PBHs) and possibly on their contribution to cosmic energy. This paper discusses the evolution of a non-singular black hole (NSBH) based on a recent model [1]. We begin with a study of the thermodynamic process of the black hole in this model, and demonstrate the existence of a maximum horizon temperature T_{max}, corresponding to a unique mass value. At this mass value the specific heat capacity C changes signs to positive and the body begins to lose its black hole characteristics. With no loss of generality, the model is used to discuss the time evolution of a primordial black hole (PBH), through the early radiation era of the universe to present, under the assumption that PBHs are non-singular. In particular, we track the evolution of two benchmark PBHs, namely the one radiating up to the end of the cosmic radiation domination era, and the one stopping to radiate currently, and in each case determine some useful features including the initial mass m_{f} and the corresponding time of formation t_{f}. It is found that along the evolutionary history of the universe the distribution of PBH remnant masses (PBH-RM) PBH-RMs follows a power law. We believe such a result can be a useful step in a study to establish current abundance of PBH-MRs.

We derive the equation governing the axial-perturbations in the space-time of a non-rotating uncharged primordial black hole (PBH), produced in early Universe, whose metric is taken as generalized McVittie metric. The generalized McVittie metric is a cosmological black hole metric, proposed by V. Faraoni and A. Jacques in 2007 [Phys. Rev. D 76, 063510 (2007)]. This describes the space-time of a Schwarzschild black hole embedded in FLRW-Universe, while allowing its mass-change. Our derivation is quite similar to the procedure of derivation of S. Chandrasekhar, for deriving the Regge-Wheeler equation for Schwarzschild metric [S. Chandrasekhar, The Mathematical Theory of Black holes ; Oxford University Press (1983)]. The equation we derive, is the equivalent counterpart of the Regge-Wheeler equation, in case of generalized McVittie metric. Using this equation, we have derived a condition for which the imaginary part of the frequency, of any mode of perturbations, would be greater than zero or in other words, the condition for which the corresponding modes grow exponentially with time. This is actually the stability criteria for the axial-perturbations in the generalized McVittie metric.
We consider dynamics of a quantum scalar field, minimally coupled to classical gravity, in the near-horizon region of a Schwarzschild black-hole. It is described by a static Klein-Gordon operator which in the near-horizon region reduces to a scale in variant Hamiltonian of the system. This Hamiltonian is not essentially self-adjoint, but it admits a one-parameter family of self-adjoint extension. The time-energy uncertainty relation, which can be related to the thermal black-hole mass fluctuations, requires explicit construction of a time operator near-horizon. We present its derivation in terms of generators of the affine group. Matrix elements involving the time operator should be evaluated in the affine coherent state representation.

We propose seven criteria to single out physically reasonable non-singular black-hole models and adopt them to four different spherically symmetric models with a regular center and their rotating counterparts. In general relativity, all such non-sing ular black holes are non-generic with a certain matter field including a class of nonlinear electromagnetic fields. According to a criterion that the effective energy-momentum tensor should satisfy all the standard energy conditions in asymptotically flat regions, the well-known Bardeen and Hayward black holes are discarded. In contrast, the Dymnikova and Fan-Wang black holes respect the dominant energy condition everywhere. Although the rotating Fan-Wang black hole contains a curvature singularity, the rotating Dymnikova black hole is free from scalar polynomial curvature singularities and closed timelike curves. In addition, the dominant energy condition is respected on and outside the event horizons in the latter case. The absence of parallelly propagated curvature singularities remains an open question.
A significant abundance of primordial black hole (PBH) dark matter can be produced by curvature perturbations with power spectrum $Delta_zeta^2(k_{mathrm{peak}})sim mathcal{O}(10^{-2})$ at small scales, associated with the generation of observable sc alar induced gravitational waves (SIGWs). However, the primordial non-Gaussianity may play a non-negligible role, which is not usually considered. We propose two inflation models that predict double peaks of order $mathcal{O}(10^{-2})$ in the power spectrum and study the effects of primordial non-Gaussianity on PBHs and SIGWs. This model is driven by a power-law potential, and has a noncanonical kinetic term whose coupling function admits two peaks. By field-redefinition, it can be recast into a canonical inflation model with two quasi-inflection points in the potential. We find that the PBH abundance will be altered saliently if non-Gaussianity parameter satisfies $|f_{mathrm{NL}}(k_{text{peak}},k_{text{peak}},k_{text{peak}})|gtrsim Delta^2_{zeta}(k_{mathrm{peak}})/(23delta^3_c) sim mathcal{O}(10^{-2})$. Whether the PBH abundance is suppressed or enhanced depends on the $f_{mathrm{NL}}$ being positive or negative, respectively. In our model, non-Gaussianity parameter $f_{mathrm{NL}}(k_{mathrm{peak}},k_{mathrm{peak}},k_{mathrm{peak}})sim mathcal{O}(1)$ takes positive sign, thus PBH abundance is suppressed dramatically. On the contrary, SIGWs are insensitive to primordial non-Gaussianity and hardly affected, so they are still within the sensitivities of space-based GWs observatories and Square Kilometer Array.
We perform (3+1)-dimensional simulations of primordial black hole (PBH) formation starting from the spheroidal super-horizon perturbations. We investigate how the ellipticity (prolateness or oblateness) affects the threshold of PBH formation in terms of the peak amplitude of curvature perturbation. We find that, in the case of the radiation-dominated universe, the effect of ellipticity on the threshold is negligibly small for large amplitude of perturbations expected for PBH formation.
