We give a classification of fully supersymmetric chiral ${cal N}=(8,0)$ AdS$_3$ vacua in general three-dimensional half-maximal gauged supergravities coupled to matter. These theories exhibit a wealth of supersymmetric vacua with background isometries given by the supergroups OSp$(8|2,mathbb{R})$, F(4), SU$(4|1,1)$, and OSp$(4^*|4)$, respectively. We identify the associated embedding tensors and the structure of the associated gauge groups. We furthermore compute the mass spectra around these vacua. As an off-spin we include results for a number of ${cal N}=(7,0)$ vacua with supergroups OSp$(7|2,mathbb{R})$ and G$(3)$, respectively. We also comment on their possible higher-dimensional uplifts.

We analyze a particular SU(2) invariant sector of the scalar manifold of gauged N=8 supergravity in five dimensions, and find all the critical points of the potential within this sector. The critical points give rise to Anti-de Sitter vacua, and pres erve at least an SU(2) gauge symmetry. Consistent truncation implies that these solutions correspond to Anti-de Sitter compactifications of IIB supergravity, and hence to possible near-horizon geometries of 3-branes. Thus we find new conformal phases of softly broken N=4 Yang--Mills theory. One of the critical points preserves N=2 supersymmetry in the bulk and is therefore completely stable, and corresponds to an N=1 superconformal fixed point of the Yang--Mills theory. The corresponding renormalization group flow from the N=4 point has c_{IR}/c_{UV} = 27/32. We also discuss the ten-dimensional geometries corresponding to these critical points.
We compute the three-loop scattering amplitude of four gravitons in ${mathcal N}=8$ supergravity. Our results are analytic formulae for a Laurent expansion of the amplitude in the regulator of dimensional regularisation. The coefficients of this seri es are closed formulae in terms of well-established harmonic poly-logarithms. Our results display a remarkable degree of simplicity and represent an important stepping stone in the exploration of the structure of scattering amplitudes. In particular, we observe that to this loop order the four graviton amplitude is given by uniform weight $2L$ functions, where $L$ is the loop order.
We geometrize six-dimensional pure $mathcal{N}=1$ Supergravity by means of an exact Courant algebroid, whose Severa class is defined through the Supergravity three-form $H$, equipped with a generalized metric and a compatible, torsion-free, generaliz ed connection. The Supergravity equations of motion follow from the vanishing of the Ricci curvature of the generalized metric, satisfying a natural notion of self-duality. This way, we interpret the solutions of six-dimensional pure, $mathcal{N}=1$, Supergravity as generalized self-dual gravitational monopoles. For the D1-D5 black string solution, we explore the possibility of controlling space-time singularities by using $B$-field transformations.
We consider the general $mathcal{N}{=},4,$ $d{=},3$ Galilean superalgebra with arbitrary central charges and study its dynamical realizations. Using the nonlinear realization techniques, we introduce a class of actions for $mathcal{N}{=},4$ three-dim ensional non-relativistic superparticle, such that they are linear in the central charge Maurer-Cartan one-forms. As a prerequisite to the quantization, we analyze the phase space constraints structure of our model for various choices of the central charges. The first class constraints generate gauge transformations, involving fermionic $kappa$-gauge transformations. The quantization of the model gives rise to the collection of free $mathcal{N}{=},4$, $d{=},3$ Galilean superfields, which can be further employed, e.g., for description of three-dimensional non-relativistic $mathcal{N}{=},4$ supersymmetric theories.
The locally supersymmetric extension of the most general gravity theory in three dimensions leading to first order field equations for the vielbein and the spin connection is constructed. Apart from the Einstein-Hilbert term with cosmological constan t, the gravitational sector contains the Lorentz-Chern-Simons form and a term involving the torsion each with arbitrary couplings. The supersymmetric extension is carried out for vanishing and negative effective cosmological constant, and it is shown that the action can be written as a Chern-Simons theory for the supersymmetric extension of the Poincare and AdS groups, respectively. The construction can be simply carried out by making use of a duality map between different gravity theories discussed here, which relies on the different ways to make geometry emerge from a single gauge potential. The extension for N =p+q gravitini is also performed.
