Singular Darboux transformations, in contrast to the conventional ones, have a singular matrix as a coefficient before the derivative. We incorporated such transformations into a chain of conventional transformations and presented determinant formulas for the resulting action of the chain. A determinant representation of the Kohlhoff-von Geramb solution to the Marchenko equation is given.
In the calculation of quantum-mechanical singular-potential scattering, one encounters divergence. We suggest three renormalization schemes, dimensional renormalization, analytic continuation approach, and minimal-subtraction scheme to remove the divergence.
The method proposed by Inomata and his collaborators allows us to transform a damped Caldiroli-Kanai oscillator with time-dependent frequency to one with constant frequency and no friction by redefining the time variable, obtained by solving a Ermako
We derive a permutability theorem for the Christoffel, Goursat and Darboux transformations of isothermic surfaces. As a consequence we obtain a simple proof of a relation between Darboux pairs of minimal surfaces in Euclidean space, curved flats in the 2-sphere and flat fronts in hyperbolic space.
The present status of the coupled-channel inverse-scattering method with supersymmetric transformations is reviewed. We first revisit in a pedagogical way the single-channel case, where the supersymmetric approach is shown to provide a complete solut
The spectral problem for O(D) symmetric polynomial potentials allows for a partial algebraic solution after analytical continuation to negative even dimensions D. This fact is closely related to the disappearance of the factorial growth of large orde
