Possible dark states could be induced after derivations of the entrainment of matter induced by a surface wave propagating along the flexible vacuum-matter boundary by considering the nonlinear coupling between the interface and the rarefaction effect. The nonrelativistic limit of the relativistic Navier-Stokes equations was considered and analytically solved by a perturbation approach. The critical reflux values associated with the product of the second-order body forcing and the Reynolds number (representing the viscous dissipations) decrease as the Knudsen number (representing the rarefaction measure) increases from zero to 0.1. We obtained the critical bounds for possible dark states corresponding to specific Reynolds numbers (ratio of wave inertia and viscous dissipation effects) and wave numbers which might be linked to the dissipative evolution of certain large-scale structure during the relativistic heavy-ion collisions.

The gravity-driven flow along an annular topological defect (string) with transversely corrugations is investigated by using the verified transition-rate model and boundary perturbation method. We found that for certain activation volume and energy t here exists possible frictionless states which might be associated with the missing momentum of inertia or dark matter.
Recently, the gravitational polarization of the quantum vacuum was proposed as alternative to the dark matter paradigm. In the present paper we consider four benchmark measurements: the universality of the central surface density of galaxy dark matte r haloes, the cored dark matter haloes in dwarf spheroidal galaxies, the non-existence of dark disks in spiral galaxies and distribution of dark matter after collision of clusters of galaxies (the Bullet cluster is a famous example). Only some of these phenomena (but not all of them) can (in principle) be explained by the dark matter and the theories of modified gravity. However, we argue that the framework of the gravitational polarization of the quantum vacuum allows the understanding of the totality of these phenomena.
It has been suggested recently that an arbitrary induced theta-vacuum state could be created in heavy ion collisions. If such a state can be created, it would decay by various mechanisms to the fundamental theta=0 state which is the true ground state of our world. In the following we will discuss the possibility of studying this unusual state through the emission of pions, eta-mesons, and eta-mesons. We will also present the spectrum of the produced particles in this non-zero theta background. We use the instantaneous perturbation theory for our estimates.

The accelerated expansion of the universe has been established through observations of supernovae, the growth of structure, and the cosmic microwave background. The most popular explanation is Einsteins cosmological constant, or dynamic variations he reof. A recent paper demonstrated that if dark matter particles are endowed with a repulsive force proportional to the internal velocity dispersion of galaxies, then the corresponding acceleration of the universe may follow that of a cosmological constant fairly closely. However, no such long-range force is known to exist. A concrete example of such a force is derived here, by equipping the dark matter particles with two new dark charges. This result lends support to the possibility that the current acceleration of the universe may be explained without the need for a cosmological constant.

The thermal expansion of a fluid combined with a temperature-dependent viscosity introduces nonlinearities in the Navier-Stokes equations unrelated to the convective momentum current. The couplings generate the possibility for net fluid flow at the m icroscale controlled by external heating. This novel thermo-mechanical effect is investigated for a thin fluid chamber by a numerical solution of the Navier-Stokes equations and analytically by a perturbation expansion. A demonstration experiment confirms the basic mechanism and quantitatively validates our theoretical analysis.
