In this work, a Timoshenko system of type III of thermoelasticity with frictional versus viscoelastic under Dirichlet-Dirichlet-Neumann boundary conditions was considered. By exploiting energy method to produce a suitable Lyapunov functional, we establish the global existence, exponential decay of Type-III case.

We introduce a new model of the logarithmic type of wave like plate equation with a nonlocal logarithmic damping mechanism. We consider the Cauchy problem for this new model in the whole space, and study the asymptotic profile and optimal decay rates of solutions as time goes to infinity in L^{2}-sense. The operator L considered in this paper was first introduced to dissipate the solutions of the wave equation in the paper studied by Charao-Ikehata in 2020. We will discuss the asymptotic property of the solution as time goes to infinity to our Cauchy problem, and in particular, we classify the property of the solutions into three parts from the viewpoint of regularity of the initial data, that is, diffusion-like, wave-like, and both of them.
This paper is concerned with system of magnetic effected piezoelectric beams with interior time-varying delay and time-dependent weights, in which the beam is clamped at the two side points subject to a single distributed state feedback controller wi th a time-varying delay. By combining the semigroup theory with Katos variable norm technique, we obtain the existence and uniqueness of solution. By imposing appropriate assumptions on the time-varying delay term and time-dependent weights, we introduce suitable perturbed Lyapunov functional to obtain exponential stability estimates.

The diffraction of a plane wave by a transversely inhomogeneous isotropic nonmagnetic linearly polarized dielectric layer filled with a Kerr-type nonlinear medium is considered. The analytical and numerical solution techniques are developed. The diff raction problem is reduced to a singular boundary value problem for a semilinear second-order ordinary differential equation with a cubic nonlinearity and then to a cubic-nonlinear integral equation of the second kind and to a system of nonlinear operator equations of the second kind solved using iterations. Sufficient conditions of the unique solvability are obtained using the contraction principle.
We introduce a new model of the logarithmic type of wave-like equation with a nonlocal logarithmic damping mechanism, which is rather weakly effective as compared with frequently studied fractional damping cases. We consider the Cauchy problem for th is new model in the whole space, and study the asymptotic profile and optimal decay and/or blowup rates of solutions as time goes to infinity in L^{2}-sense. The operator L considered in this paper was used to dissipate the solutions of the wave equation in the paper studied by Charao-Ikehata in 2020, and in the low frequency parameters the principal part of the equation and the damping term is rather weakly effective than those of well-studied power type operators.
We provide a proof of mean-field convergence of first-order dissipative or conservative dynamics of particles with Riesz-type singular interaction (the model interaction is an inverse power $s$ of the distance for any $0<s<d$) when assuming a certain regularity of the solutions to the limiting evolution equations. It relies on a modulated-energy approach, as introduced in previous works where it was restricted to the Coulomb and super-Coulombic cases. The method also allows us to incorporate multiplicative noise of transport type into the dynamics for the first time in this generality. It relies in extending functional inequalities of arXiv:1803.08345, arXiv:2011.12180, arXiv:2003.11704 to more general interactions, via a new, robust proof that exploits a certain commutator structure.
