We consider magnetic fields on $mathbb{R}^3$ which are parallel to a conformal Killing field. When the latter generates a simple rotation we show that a Weyl-Dirac operator with such a magnetic field cannot have a zero mode. In particular this allows us to expand the class of non zero mode producing magnetic fields to include examples of non-trivial smooth compactly supported fields.
We show that for a one-dimensional Schrodinger operator with a potential whose (j+1)th moment is integrable the jth derivative of the scattering matrix is in the Wiener algebra of functions with integrable Fourier transforms. We use this result to im
We prove the absence of eigenvaues of the three-dimensional Dirac operator with non-Hermitian potentials in unbounded regions of the complex plane under smallness conditions on the potentials in Lebesgue spaces. Our sufficient conditions are quantitative and easily checkable.
We study directed, weighted graphs $G=(V,E)$ and consider the (not necessarily symmetric) averaging operator $$ (mathcal{L}u)(i) = -sum_{j sim_{} i}{p_{ij} (u(j) - u(i))},$$ where $p_{ij}$ are normalized edge weights. Given a vertex $i in V$, we defi
This note aims to give prominence to some new results on the absence and localization of eigenvalues for the Dirac and Klein-Gordon operators, starting from known resolvent estimates already established in the literature combined with the renowned Birman-Schwinger principle.
We establish magnetic improvements upon the classical Hardy inequality for two specific choices of singular magnetic fields. First, we consider the Aharonov-Bohm field in all dimensions and establish a sharp Hardy-type inequality that takes into acco
