This study dealt with the determination of hydrogen sulfide concentrations in the sediments and water of sewage points on the beach of Lattakia city - the southern Corniche region, which witnesses a clear flow of sewage water and the effect of bacteria on the emission of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) of high toxicity to the water medium and from it to the air and seasonal changes. These emissions and the role of hydrological factors such as salinity, acidity and temperature in this process.
