We determine the skein-valued Gromov-Witten partition function for a single toric Lagrangian brane in $mathbb{C}^3$ or the resolved conifold. We first show geometrically they must satisfy a certain skein-theoretic recursion, and then solve this equation. The recursion is a skein-valued quantization of the equation of the mirror curve. The solution is the expected hook-content formula.
Let $X$ be a Weinstein manifold with ideal contact boundary $Y$. If $Lambdasubset Y$ is a link of Legendrian spheres in $Y$ then by attaching Weinstein handles to $X$ along $Lambda$ we get a Weinstein cobordism $X_{Lambda}$ with a collection of Lagrangian co-core disks $C$ corresponding to $Lambda$. In cite{BEE, EL} it was shown that the wrapped Floer cohomology $CW^{ast}(C)$ of $C$ in the Weinstein manifold $X_{Lambda}=Xcup X_{Lambda}$is naturally isomorphic to the Legendrian differential graded algebra $CE^{ast}(Lambda)$ of $Lambda$ in $Y$. The argument uses properties of moduli spaces of holomorphic curves, the proofs of which were only sketched. The purpose of this paper is to provide proofs of these properties.
Given a symplectic three-fold $(M,omega)$ we show that for a generic almost complex structure $J$ which is compatible with $omega$, there are finitely many $J$-holomorphic curves in $M$ of any genus $ggeq 0$ representing a homology class $beta$ in $H_2(M,Z)$ with $c_1(M).beta=0$, provided that the divisibility of $beta$ is at most 4 (i.e. if $beta=nalpha$ with $alphain H_2(M,Z)$ and $nin Z$ then $nleq 4$). Moreover, each such curve is embedded and 4-rigid.
We prove that the topological recursion formalism can be used to quantize any generic classical spectral curve with smooth ramification points and simply ramified away from poles. For this purpose, we build both the associated quantum curve, i.e. the differential operator quantizing the algebraic equation defining the classical spectral curve considered, and a basis of wave functions, that is to say a basis of solutions of the corresponding differential equation. We further build a Lax pair representing the resulting quantum curve and thus present it as a point in an associated space of meromorphic connections on the Riemann sphere, a first step towards isomonodromic deformations. We finally propose two examples: the derivation of a 2-parameter family of formal trans-series solutions to Painleve 2 equation and the quantization of a degree three spectral curve with pole only at infinity.
We study the fields of endomorphisms intertwining pairs of symplectic structures. Using these endomorphisms we prove an analogue of Mosers theorem for simultaneous isotopies of two families of symplectic forms. We also consider the geometric structures defined by pairs and triples of symplectic forms for which the squares of the intertwining endomorphisms are plus or minus the identity. For pairs of forms we recover the notions of symplectic pairs and of holomorphic symplectic structures. For triples we recover the notion of a hypersymplectic structure, and we also find three new structures that have not been considered before. One of these is the symplectic formulation of hyper-Kaehler geometry, which turns out to be a strict generalization of the usual definition in terms of differential or Kaehler geometry.
