In this paper, the notion of operator means in the setting of JB-algebras is introduced and their properties are studied. Many identities and inequalities are established, most of them have origins from operators on Hilbert space but they have different forms and connotations, and their proofs require techniques in JB-algebras.

We initiate the study of relative operator entropies and Tsallis relative operator entropies in the setting of JB-algebras. We establish their basic properties and extend the operator inequalities on relative operator entropies and Tsallis relative operator entropies to this setting. In addition, we improve the lower and upper bounds of the relative operator $(alpha, beta)$-entropy in the setting of JB-algebras that were established in Hilbert space operators setting by Nikoufar [18, 20]. Though we employ the same notation as in the classical setting of Hilbert space operators, the inequalities in the setting of JB-algebras have different connotations and their proofs requires techniques in JB-algebras.

Let $mathbb{P}$ be the complete metric space consisting of positive invertible operators on an infinite-dimensional Hilbert space with the Thompson metric. We introduce the notion of operator means of probability measures on $mathbb{P}$, in parallel with Kubo and Andos definition of two-variable operator means, and show that every operator mean is contractive for the $infty$-Wasserstein distance. By means of a fixed point method we consider deformation of such operator means, and show that the deformation of any operator mean becomes again an operator mean in our sense. Based on this deformation procedure we prove a number of properties and inequalities for operator means of probability measures.

Generally-unbounded infinitesimal generators are studied in the context of operator topology. Beginning with the definition of seminorm, the concept of locally convex topological vector space is introduced as well as the concept of Fr{e}chet space. These are the basic concepts for defining an operator topology. Consequently, by associating the topological concepts with the convergence of sequence, a suitable mathematical framework for obtaining the logarithmic representation of infinitesimal generators is presented.
In this note we address the question whether one can recover from the vertex operator algebra associated with a four-dimensional N=2 superconformal field theory the deformation quantization of the Higgs branch of vacua that appears as a protected subsector in the three-dimensional circle-reduced theory. We answer this question positively if the UV R-symmetries do not mix with accidental (topological) symmetries along the renormalization group flow from the four-dimensional theory on a circle to the three-dimensional theory. If they do mix, we still find a deformation quantization but at different values of its period.
We improve the existing Ando-Hiai inequalities for operator means and present new ones for operator perspectives in several ways. We also provide the operator perspective version of the Lie-Trotter formula and consider the extension problem of operator perspectives to non-invertible positive operators.
