In this study we consider an extension of the Standard Model with a complex hypercharge zero triplet scalar. In this scenario one of the charged Higgs bosons remains purely triplet and does not couple to the fermions, making it elusive at colliders. Also the physical pseudoscalar is a pure triplet and this purity makes it a suitable dark matter candidate without the need of discrete symmetries, unlike other extensions. The bounds from relic density and direct dark matter search experiments select its mass to be $sim 1.35-1.60$ TeV. The pure triplet charged Higgs gives rise to displaced signatures and their sensitivity at LHC and MATHUSLA have been studied. The prospects at present and future hadron/muon colliders of such exotic scalars are pointed out by calculating their productions cross-section and dominant decay modes. We present also the expected reach for the triplet states at a multi-TeV muon collider.

I report on a calculation of the inclusive Higgs boson production cross section at hadron colliders at next-to-next-to-leading order in QCD. The result is computed as an expansion about the threshold region. By continuing the expansion to very high order, we map the result onto basis functions and obtain the result in closed analytic form.

This document aims to provide an assessment of the potential of future colliding beam facilities to perform Higgs boson studies. The analysis builds on the submissions made by the proponents of future colliders to the European Strategy Update process, and takes as its point of departure the results expected at the completion of the HL-LHC program. This report presents quantitative results on many aspects of Higgs physics for future collider projects of sufficient maturity using uniform methodologies. A first version of this report was prepared for the purposes of discussion at the Open Symposium in Granada (13-16/05/2019). Comments and feedback received led to the consideration of additional run scenarios as well as a refined analysis of the impact of electroweak measurements on the Higgs coupling extraction.
This document summarises the current theoretical and experimental status of the di-Higgs boson production searches, and of the direct and indirect constraints on the Higgs boson self-coupling, with the wish to serve as a useful guide for the next years. The document discusses the theoretical status, including state-of-the-art predictions for di-Higgs cross sections, developments on the effective field theory approach, and studies on specific new physics scenarios that can show up in the di-Higgs final state. The status of di-Higgs searches and the direct and indirect constraints on the Higgs self-coupling at the LHC are presented, with an overview of the relevant experimental techniques, and covering all the variety of relevant signatures. Finally, the capabilities of future colliders in determining the Higgs self-coupling are addressed, comparing the projected precision that can be obtained in such facilities. The work has started as the proceedings of the Di-Higgs workshop at Colliders, held at Fermilab from the 4th to the 9th of September 2018, but it went beyond the topics discussed at that workshop and included further developments.
We present the Higgs boson production cross section at Hadron colliders in the gluon fusion production mode through N3LO in perturbative QCD. Specifically, we work in an effective theory where the top quark is assumed to be infinitely heavy and all other quarks are considered to be massless. Our result is the first exact formula for a partonic hadron collider cross section at N3LO in perturbative QCD. Furthermore, this result represents the first analytic computation of a hadron collider cross section involving elliptic integrals. We derive numerical predictions for the Higgs boson cross section at the LHC. Previously this result was approximated by an expansion of the cross section around the production threshold of the Higgs boson and we compare our findings. Finally, we study the impact of our new result on the state of the art prediction for the Higgs boson cross section at the LHC.

The search for Higgs bosons and extensions of the Standard Model of Elementary Particle Physics are main tasks of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN which will start operation mid-2008. In this thesis processes which can be used to detect supersymmetric Higgs bosons at the LHC were considered. First a computer program was written which completes the toolbox for automatic calculations of hadronic cross sections. Using this program, the supersymmetric QCD corrections to associated H-W+-production and h0-production via vector-boson fusion and in association with heavy quarks were calculated. The corrections partly give significant contributions to the total cross section. Additionally, the possibility to measure the quartic Higgs self-coupling via triple-Higgs production was investigated and found to be challenging.
