Basing on the ideas used by Kiselev, we study the Hayward black hole surrounded by quintessence. By setting for the quintessence state parameter at the special case of $omega=-frac{2}{3}$, using the metric of the black hole surrounded by quintessence and the definition of the effective potential, we analyzed in detail the null geodesics for different energies. We also analyzed the horizons of the Hayward black hole surrounded by quintessence as well as the shadow of the black hole.

We study the thermodynamic stabilities of uncharged and charged black holes surrounded by quintessence (BHQ) by means of effective thermodynamic quantities. When the state parameter of quintessence $omega_q$ is appropriately chosen, the structures of BHQ are something like that of black holes in de Sitter space. Constructing the effective first law of thermodynamics in two different ways, we can derive the effective thermodynamic quantities of BHQ. Especially, these effective thermodynamic quantities also satisfy Smarr-like formulae. It is found that the uncharged BHQ is always thermodynamically unstable due to negative heat capacity, while for the charged BHQ there are phase transitions of the second order. We also show that there is a great deal of difference on the thermodynamic properties and critical behaviors of BHQ between the two ways we employed.
We present a solution of Einstein equations with quintessential matter surrounding a $d$-dimensional black hole, whose asymptotic structures are determined by the state of the quintessential matter. We examine the thermodynamics of this black hole and find that the mass of the black hole depends on the equation of state of the quintessence, while the first law is universal. Investigating the Hawking radiation in this black hole background, we observe that the Hawking radiation dominates on the brane in the low-energy regime. For different asymptotic structures caused by the equation of state of the quintessential matter surrounding the black hole, we learn that the influences by the state parameter of the quintessence on Hawking radiation are different.

A modified Hayward black hole is a nonsingular black hole. It is proposed to form when the pressure generated by quantum gravity can stop matters collapse as the matter reaches Planck density. Strong deflection gravitational lensing happening nearby its event horizon might provide some clues of these quantum effects in its central core. We investigate observables of the strong deflection lensing, including angular separations, brightness differences and time delays between its relativistic images, and estimate their values for the supermassive black hole in the Galactic center. We find that it is possible to distinguish the modified Hayward black hole from a Schwarzschild one, but it demands very high resolution beyond current stage.
In this paper, we study Joule-Thomson expansion for Hayward-AdS black hole in the extended phase space, and obtain a Joule-Thomson expansion formula for the black hole. We plot the inversion and isenthalpic curves in the T-P plane, and determine the cooling-heating regions. The intersection points of the isenthalpic and inversion curves are exactly the inversion points discriminating the heating process from the cooling one.
We study timelike and null geodesics in a non-singular black hole metric proposed by Hayward. The metric contains an additional length-scale parameter $ell$ and approaches the Schwarzschild metric at large radii while approaches a constant at small radii so that the singularity is resolved. We tabulate the various critical values of $ell$ for timelike and null geodesics: the critical values for the existence of horizon, marginally stable circular orbit and photon sphere. We find the photon sphere exists even if the horizon is absent and two marginally stable circular orbits appear if the photon sphere is absent and a stable circular orbit for photons exists for a certain range of $ell$. We visualize the image of a black hole and find that blight rings appear even if the photon sphere is absent.
