In a deduction system with some propositions and some known relations among these propositions, people usually care about the minimum of propositions by which all other propositions can be deduced according to these known relations. Here we call it a minimizing deduction system. Its common solution is the guess and determine method. In this paper we propose a method of solving the minimizing deduction system based on MILP. Firstly, we introduce the conceptions of state variable, path variable and state copy, which enable us to characterize all rules by inequalities. Then we reduce the deduction problem to a MILP problem and solve it by the Gurobi optimizer. As its applications, we analyze the security of two stream ciphers SNOW2.0 and Enocoro-128v2 in resistance to guess and determine attacks. For SNOW 2.0, it is surprising that it takes less than 0.1s to get the best solution of 9 known variables in a personal Macbook Air(Early 2015, Double Intel Core i5 1.6GHZ, 4GB DDR3). For Enocoro-128v2, we get the best solution of 18 known variables within 3 minutes. Whats more, we propose two improvements to reduce the number of variables and inequalities which significantly decrease the scale of the MILP problem.

Deduction systems and graph rewriting systems are compared within a common categorical framework. This leads to an improved deduction method in diagrammatic logics.
In this paper we propose a complete axiomatization of the bisimilarity distance of Desharnais et al. for the class of finite labelled Markov chains. Our axiomatization is given in the style of a quantitative extension of equational logic recently proposed by Mardare, Panangaden, and Plotkin (LICS 2016) that uses equality relations $t equiv_varepsilon s$ indexed by rationals, expressing that `$t$ is approximately equal to $s$ up to an error $varepsilon$. Notably, our quantitative deduction system extends in a natural way the equational system for probabilistic bisimilarity given by Stark and Smolka by introducing an axiom for dealing with the Kantorovich distance between probability distributions. The axiomatization is then used to propose a metric extension of a Kleenes style representation theorem for finite labelled Markov chains, that was proposed (in a more general coalgebraic fashion) by Silva et al. (Inf. Comput. 2011).
Motion blur can impede marker detection and marker-based pose estimation, which is common in real-world robotic applications involving fiducial markers. To solve this problem, we propose a novel lightweight generative adversarial network (GAN), Ghost-DeblurGAN, for real-time motion deblurring. Furthermore, a new large-scale dataset, YorkTag, provides pairs of sharp/blurred images containing fiducial markers and is proposed to train and qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate our model. Experimental results demonstrate that when applied along with fudicual marker systems to motion-blurred images, Ghost-DeblurGAN improves the marker detection significantly and mitigates the rotational ambiguity problem in marker-based pose estimation.

ReLU (rectified linear units) neural network has received significant attention since its emergence. In this paper, a univariate ReLU (UReLU) neural network is proposed to both modelling the nonlinear dynamic system and revealing insights about the system. Specifically, the neural network consists of neurons with linear and UReLU activation functions, and the UReLU functions are defined as the ReLU functions respect to each dimension. The UReLU neural network is a single hidden layer neural network, and the structure is relatively simple. The initialization of the neural network employs the decoupling method, which provides a good initialization and some insight into the nonlinear system. Compared with normal ReLU neural network, the number of parameters of UReLU network is less, but it still provide a good approximation of the nonlinear dynamic system. The performance of the UReLU neural network is shown through a Hysteretic benchmark system: the Bouc-Wen system. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper, the efficient hinging hyperplanes (EHH) neural network is proposed based on the model of hinging hyperplanes (HH). The EHH neural network is a distributed representation, the training of which involves solving several convex optimization problems and is fast. It is proved that for every EHH neural network, there is an equivalent adaptive hinging hyperplanes (AHH) tree, which was also proposed based on the model of HH and find good applications in system identification. The construction of the EHH neural network includes 2 stages. First the initial structure of the EHH neural network is randomly determined and the Lasso regression is used to choose the appropriate network. To alleviate the impact of randomness, secondly, the stacking strategy is employed to formulate a more general network structure. Different from other neural networks, the EHH neural network has interpretability ability, which can be easily obtained through its ANOVA decomposition (or interaction matrix). The interpretability can then be used as a suggestion for input variable selection. The EHH neural network is applied in nonlinear system identification, the simulation results show that the regression vector selected is reasonable and the identification speed is fast, while at the same time, the simulation accuracy is satisfactory.
