The processes $e^+e^-to D_s^+ D_{s1}(2460)^- +c.c.$ and $e^+e^-to D_s^{ast +} D_{s1}(2460)^- +c.c.$ are studied for the first time using data samples collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The Born cross sections of $e^+e^-to D_s^+ D_{s1}(2460)^- +c.c.$ at nine center-of-mass energies between 4.467,GeV and 4.600,GeV and those of $e^+e^-to D_s^{ast +} D_{s1}(2460)^- +c.c.$ at ${sqrt s}=$ 4.590,GeV and 4.600,GeV are measured. No obvious charmonium or charmonium-like structure is seen in the measured cross sections.
The Born cross sections are measured for the first time for the processes $e^+e^-to D_s^{*+}D_{s0}^*(2317)^- +c.c.$ and $e^+e^-to D_s^{*+}D_{s1}(2460)^- +c.c.$ at the center-of-mass energy $sqrt{s}=$ 4.600~GeV, 4.612~GeV, 4.626~GeV, 4.640~GeV, 4.660~GeV, 4.68~GeV, and 4.700~GeV, and for $e^+e^-to D_s^{*+}D_{s1}(2536)^- +c.c.$ at $sqrt{s}=$ 4.660~GeV, 4.680~GeV, and 4.700~GeV, using data samples collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. No structures are observed in cross-section distributions for any of the processes.
Using a data sample of 921.9 fb$^{-1}$ collected with the Belle detector, we study the process of $e^+e^-to D^+_sD_{s1}(2536)^-+c.c.$ via initial-state radiation. We report the first observation of a vector charmoniumlike state decaying to $D^+_sD_{s1}(2536)^-+c.c.$ with a significance of 5.9$sigma$, including the systematic uncertainties. The measured mass and width are $(4625.9^{+6.2}_{-6.0}({rm stat.})pm0.4({rm syst.}))~{rm MeV}/c^{2}$ and $(49.8^{+13.9}_{-11.5}({rm stat.})pm4.0({rm syst.}))~{rm MeV}$, respectively. The product of the $e^+e^-to D^+_sD_{s1}(2536)^-+c.c.$ cross section and the branching fraction of $D_{s1}(2536)^-to{bar D}^{*0}K^-$ is measured from the $D_s bar{D}_{s1}(2536)$ threshold to 5.59~GeV.
Using the data samples of $(1310.6pm7.2 )times 10^{6}$ $J/psi$ events and $(448.1pm2.9)times 10^{6}$ $psi(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we search for the rare decays $J/psi to D^{0} e^{+}e^{-} +c.c.$ and $psi(3686) to D^{0} e^{+}e^{-} +c.c.$. No significant signals are observed and the corresponding upper limits on the branching fractions at the $90%$ confidence level are determined to be $Br(J/psi to D^{0} e^{+}e^{-} +c.c.)< 8.5times 10^{-8}$ and $Br (psi(3686) to D^{0} e^{+}e^{-} +c.c.)<1.4times 10^{-7}$, respectively. Our limit on $Br(J/psi to D^{0} e^{+}e^{-} +c.c.)$ is more stringent by two orders of magnitude than the previous results, and the $Br(psi(3686) to D^{0} e^{+}e^{-} +c.c.)$ is measured for the first time.
Using 586 $textrm{pb}^{-1}$ of $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision data acquired at $sqrt{s}=4.170$ GeV with the CLEO-c detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we report the first observation of $D_{s}^{*+} to D_{s}^{+} e^{+} e^{-}$ with a significance of $5.3 sigma$. The ratio of branching fractions $calB(D_{s}^{*+} to D_{s}^{+} e^{+} e^{-}) / calB(D_{s}^{*+} to D_{s}^{+} gamma)$ is measured to be $[ 0.72^{+0.15}_{-0.13} (textrm{stat}) pm 0.10 (textrm{syst})]%$, which is consistent with theoretical expectations.
Several intermediate states of the reaction channels $e^{+}e^{-} rightarrow pi^{+} pi^{-} D^{0} bar{D}^{0}$ and $e^{+}e^{-} rightarrow pi^{+} pi^{-} D^{+}D^{-}$ are studied using the data samples collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies above 4.08 GeV. For the first time in this final state, a $psi(3770)$ signal is seen in the $Dbar{D}$ invariant mass spectrum, with a statistical significance of $5.2sigma$ at $sqrt{s} = 4.42$ GeV. There is also evidence for this resonance at $sqrt{s}$ = 4.26 and 4.36 GeV with statistical significance of 3.2$sigma$ and 3.3$sigma$, respectively. In addition, the Born cross section of $e^{+}e^{-}to pi^{+}pi^{-}psi(3770)$ is measured. The proposed heavy-quark-spin-symmetry partner of the $X(3872)$, the state $X_{2}(4013)$, is also searched for in the $Dbar{D}$ invariant mass spectra. No obvious signal is found. The upper limit of the Born cross section of the process $e^{+}e^{-}to rho^{0}X_{2}(4013)$ combined with the branching fraction is measured. Also, the processes $e^{+}e^{-}to D_{1}(2420)bar{D} + c.c.$ are investigated. The neutral mode with $D_{1}(2420)^{0}to D^{0}pi^{+}pi^{-}$ is reported with statistical significance of 7.4$sigma$ at $sqrt{s} = 4.42$ GeV for the first time, and evidence with statistical significance of 3.2$sigma$ and 3.3$sigma$ at $sqrt{s}$ = 4.36 and 4.60 GeV is seen, respectively. No evident signal for the process $e^{+}e^{-}to D_{1}(2420)^{0}bar{D}^{0} + c.c., D_{1}(2420)^{0}to D^{*+}pi^{-}$ is reported. Evidence for $e^{+}e^{-}to D_{1}(2420)^{+}D^{-} +~c.c., D_{1}(2420)^{+}to D^{+}pi^{+}pi^{-}$ is reported with statistical significance of 3.1$sigma$ and 3.0$sigma$ at $sqrt{s}$ = 4.36 and 4.42 GeV, respectively.
