We propose a renormalizable theory with minimal particle content and symmetries, that successfully explains the number of Standard Model (SM) fermion families, the SM fermion mass hierarchy, the tiny values for the light active neutrino masses, the lepton and baryon asymmetry of the Universe, the dark matter relic density as well as the muon and electron anomalous magnetic moments. In the proposed model, the top quark and the exotic fermions do acquire tree-level masses whereas the SM charged fermions lighter than the top quark gain one-loop level masses. Besides that, the tiny masses for the light active neutrino are generated from an inverse seesaw mechanism at one-loop level.

We present a model that gives a natural explanation to the charged lepton mass hierarchy and study the contributions to the electron and the muon $g-2$. In the model, we introduce lepton-flavor-dependent $U(1)_F$ symmetry and three additional Higgs doublets with $U(1)_F$ charges, to realize that each generation of charged leptons couples to one of the three additional Higgs doublets. The $U(1)_F$ symmetry is softly broken by $+1$ charges, and the smallness of the soft breaking naturally gives rise to the hierarchy of the Higgs VEVs, which then accounts for the charged lepton mass hierarchy. Since electron and muon couple to different scalar particles, each scalar contributes to the electron and the muon $g-2$ differently. We survey the space of parameters of the Higgs sector and find that there are sets of parameters that explain the muon $g-2$ discrepancy. On the other hand, we cannot find the parameter sets that can explain $g-2$ discrepancy within 2$sigma$. Here the $U(1)_F$ symmetry suppresses charged lepton flavor violation.
We study the minimal scotogenic model constituting an additional inert Higgs doublet and three sets of right-handed neutrinos. The scotogenic model connects dark matter, baryon asymmetry of the Universe and neutrino oscillation data. In our work, we obtain baryogenesis by the decay of TeV scale heavy neutral singlet fermion ($N_{2}$). We primarily focus on the intermediate-mass region of dark matter within $M_W<M_{DM}le550$ GeV, where observed relic density is suppressed due to co-annihilation processes. We consider thermal as well as the non-thermal approach of dark matter production and explore the possibility of the lightest stable candidate being a dark matter candidate. Within the inert Higgs doublet (IHD) desert, we explore a new allowed region of dark matter masses for the non-thermal generation of dark matter with a mass splitting of 10 GeV among the inert scalars. We also see the variation of relic abundance for unequal mass splitting among the scalars. The KamLand-Zen bound on the effective mass of the active neutrinos is also verified in this study.
The anomalous magnetic moments of the electron and the muon are interesting observables, since they can be measured with great precision and their values can be computed with excellent accuracy within the Standard Model (SM). The current experimental measurement of this quantities show a deviation of a few standard deviations with respect to the SM prediction, which may be a hint of new physics. The fact that the electron and the muon masses differ by two orders of magnitude and the deviations have opposite signs makes it difficult to find a common origin of these anomalies. In this work we introduce a complex singlet scalar charged under a Peccei-Quinn-like (PQ) global symmetry together with the electron transforming chirally under the same symmetry. In this realization, the CP-odd scalar couples to electron only, while the CP-even part can couple to muons and electrons simultaneously. In addition, the CP-odd scalar can naturally be much lighter than the CP-even scalar, as a pseudo-Goldstone boson of the PQ-like symmetry, leading to an explanation of the suppression of the electron anomalous magnetic moment with respect to the SM prediction due to the CP-odd Higgs effect dominance, as well as an enhancement of the muon one induced by the CP-even component.

In a simple extension of the standard model (SM), a pair of vector like lepton doublets ($L_1$ and $L_2$) and a $SU(2)_L$ scalar doublet ($eta$) have been introduced to help in accommodating the discrepancy in determination of the anomalous magnetic moments of the light leptons, namely, $e$ and $mu$. Moreover, to make our scenario friendly to a Dirac like neutrino and also for a consistent dark matter phenomenology, we specifically add a singlet scalar ($S$) and a singlet fermion ($psi$) in the set-up. A discrete symmetry $mathcal{Z}_2timesmathcal{Z}_2^prime$ has been imposed under which all the SM particles are even while the new particles may be assumed to have odd charges. In a bottom-up approach, with a minimal particle content, we systematically explore the available parameter space in terms of couplings and masses of the new particles. Here a number of observables associated with the SM leptons have been considered, e.g., masses and mixings of neutrinos, $(g-2)$ anomalies of $e$, $mu$, charged lepton flavor violating (cLFV) observables and the dark matter (DM) phenomenology of a singlet-doublet dark matter. Neutrinos, promoted as the Dirac type states, acquire mass at one loop level after the discrete $mathcal{Z}_2^prime$ symmetry gets softly broken, while the unbroken $mathcal{Z}_2$ keeps the dark matter stable. The mixing between the singlet $psi$ and the doublet vector lepton can be constrained to satisfy the electroweak precision observables and the spin independent (SI) direct detection (DD) cross section of the dark matter. In this analysis, potentially important LHC bounds have also been discussed.
We study an extended 2 Higgs doublet model (2HDM) in which the Standard Model (SM) Yukawa interactions are forbidden due to a global $U(1)^prime$ symmetry, but may arise via mixing with vector-like families. In this model, the hierarchical structure of Yukawa couplings of quarks and leptons in the SM arises from the heavy masses of the fourth and fifth vector-like families. Within this model, we consider various non-standard contributions to the electron and muon anomalous magnetic moments. We first consider the $W$ exchange at one-loop level, consistent with the $mu rightarrow e gamma$ constraint, and show that it yields a negligible contribution to both electron and muon anomalous magnetic moments. We then consider Higgs scalar exchange, together with vector-like leptons, at one-loop level and show that it is possible to have non-standard contributions to the electron and muon anomalous magnetic moments within the $1sigma$ constraint of certain experiments. We present some benchmark points for both the muon and the electron anomalies, together with some numerical scans around these points, which indicate the mass regions of the Higgs scalars of the 2HDM in this scenario.
