Time evolution of shear viscosity $eta$, entropy density $s$, and their ratio $eta / s$ in the central area of central gold-gold collisions at NICA energy range is studied within the UrQMD transport model. The extracted values of energy density, net baryon density and net strangeness density are used as input to (i) statistical model of ideal hadron gas to define temperature, baryo-chemical potential and strangeness chemical potential, and to (ii) UrQMD box with periodic boundary conditions to study the relaxation process of highly excited matter. During the relaxation stage, the shear viscosity is determined in the framework of Green-Kubo approach. The procedure is performed for each of 20 time slices, corresponding to conditions in the central area of the fireball at times from 1~fm/$c$ to 20~fm/$c$. For all tested energies the ratio $eta / s$ reaches minimum, $left( eta/s right)_{min} approx 0.3$ at $t approx 5$~fm/$c$. Then it increases up to the late stages of the system evolution. This rise is accompanied by the drop of both, temperature and strangeness chemical potential, and increase of baryo-chemical potential.

Equilibration of highly excited baryon-rich matter is studied within the microscopic model calculations in A+A collisions at energies of BES, FAIR and NICA. It is shown that the system evolution from the very beginning of the collision can be approximated by relativistic hydrodynamics, although the hot and dense nuclear matter is not in local equilibrium yet. During the evolution of the fireball the extracted values of energy density, net baryon and net strangeness densities are used as an input to Statistical Model (SM) in order to calculate temperature $T$, chemical potentials $mu_B$ and $mu_S$, and entropy density $s$ of the system. Also, they are used as an input for the box with periodic boundary conditions to investigate the momentum correlators in the infinite nuclear matter. Shear viscosity $eta$ is calculated according to the Green-Kubo formalism. At all energies, shear viscosity to entropy density ratio shows minimum at time corresponding to maximum baryon density. The ratio dependence on $T, mu_B, mu_S$ is investigated for both in- and out of equilibrium cases.
We present a new event generator based on the three-fluid hydrodynamics approach for the early stage of the collision, followed by a particlization at the hydrodynamic decoupling surface to join to a microscopic transport model, UrQMD, to account for hadronic final state interactions. We present first results for nuclear collisions of the FAIR/NICA energy scan program (Au+Au collisions, $sqrt{s_{NN}}=4-11$ GeV). We address the directed flow of protons and pions as well as the proton rapidity distribution for two model EoS, one with a first order phase transition the other with a crossover type softening at high densities. The new simulation program has the unique feature that it can describe a hadron-to-quark matter transition which proceeds in the baryon stopping regime that is not accessible to previous simulation programs designed for higher energies.
We explore the influence of a temperature-dependent shear viscosity over entropy density ratio $eta/s$ on the azimuthal anisotropies v_2 and v_4 of hadrons at various rapidities. We find that in Au+Au collisions at full RHIC energy, $sqrt{s_{NN}}=200$ GeV, the flow anisotropies are dominated by hadronic viscosity at all rapidities, whereas in Pb+Pb collisions at the LHC energy, $sqrt{s_{NN}}=2760$ GeV, the flow coefficients are affected by the viscosity both in the plasma and hadronic phases at midrapidity, but the further away from midrapidity, the more dominant the hadronic viscosity is. We find that the centrality and rapidity dependence of the elliptic and quadrangular flows can help to distinguish different parametrizations of $(eta/s)(T)$. We also find that at midrapidity the flow harmonics are almost independent of the decoupling criterion, but show some sensitivity to the criterion at back- and forward rapidities.
We investigate the influence of a temperature-dependent shear viscosity over entropy density ratio eta/s on the transverse momentum spectra and elliptic flow of hadrons in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions. We find that the elliptic flow in sqrt(s_NN) = 200 GeV Au+Au collisions at RHIC is dominated by the viscosity in the hadronic phase and in the phase transition region, but largely insensitive to the viscosity of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP). At the highest LHC energy, the elliptic flow becomes sensitive to the QGP viscosity and insensitive to the hadronic viscosity.
The freeze-out conditions in the light (S+S) and heavy (Pb+Pb) colliding systems of heavy nuclei at 160 AGeV/$c$ are analyzed within the microscopic Quark Gluon String Model (QGSM). We found that even for the most heavy systems particle emission takes place from the whole space-time domain available for the system evolution, but not from the thin freeze-out hypersurface, adopted in fluid dynamical models. Pions are continuously emitted from the whole volume of the reaction and reflect the main trends of the system evolution. Nucleons in Pb+Pb collisions initially come from the surface region. For both systems there is a separation of the elastic and inelastic freeze-out. The mesons with large transverse momenta, $p_t$, are predominantly produced at the early stages of the reaction. The low $p_t$-component is populated by mesons coming mainly from the decay of resonances. This explains naturally the decreasing source sizes with increasing $p_t$, observed in HBT interferometry. Comparison with S+S and Au+Au systems at 11.6 AGeV/$c$ is also presented.
