In this paper, we present a convolution neural network based method to recover the light intensity distribution from the overlapped dispersive spectra instead of adding an extra light path to capture it directly for the first time. Then, we construct a single-path sub-Hadamard snapshot spectrometer based on our previous dual-path snapshot spectrometer. In the proposed single-path spectrometer, we use the reconstructed light intensity as the original light intensity and recover high signal-to-noise ratio spectra successfully. Compared with dual-path snapshot spectrometer, the network based single-path spectrometer has a more compact structure and maintains snapshot and high sensitivity. Abundant simulated and experimental results have demonstrated that the proposed method can obtain a better reconstructed signal-to-noise ratio spectrum than the dual-path sub-Hadamard spectrometer because of its higher light throughput.

Over the past decades, enormous efforts have been made to improve the performance of linear or nonlinear mixing models for hyperspectral unmixing, yet their ability to simultaneously generalize various spectral variabilities and extract physically meaningful endmembers still remains limited due to the poor ability in data fitting and reconstruction and the sensitivity to various spectral variabilities. Inspired by the powerful learning ability of deep learning, we attempt to develop a general deep learning approach for hyperspectral unmixing, by fully considering the properties of endmembers extracted from the hyperspectral imagery, called endmember-guided unmixing network (EGU-Net). Beyond the alone autoencoder-like architecture, EGU-Net is a two-stream Siamese deep network, which learns an additional network from the pure or nearly-pure endmembers to correct the weights of another unmixing network by sharing network parameters and adding spectrally meaningful constraints (e.g., non-negativity and sum-to-one) towards a more accurate and interpretable unmixing solution. Furthermore, the resulting general framework is not only limited to pixel-wise spectral unmixing but also applicable to spatial information modeling with convolutional operators for spatial-spectral unmixing. Experimental results conducted on three different datasets with the ground-truth of abundance maps corresponding to each material demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the EGU-Net over state-of-the-art unmixing algorithms. The codes will be available from the website: https://github.com/danfenghong/IEEE_TNNLS_EGU-Net.
Snapshot compressive imaging (SCI) aims to record three-dimensional signals via a two-dimensional camera. For the sake of building a fast and accurate SCI recovery algorithm, we incorporate the interpretability of model-based methods and the speed of learning-based ones and present a novel dense deep unfolding network (DUN) with 3D-CNN prior for SCI, where each phase is unrolled from an iteration of Half-Quadratic Splitting (HQS). To better exploit the spatial-temporal correlation among frames and address the problem of information loss between adjacent phases in existing DUNs, we propose to adopt the 3D-CNN prior in our proximal mapping module and develop a novel dense feature map (DFM) strategy, respectively. Besides, in order to promote network robustness, we further propose a dense feature map adaption (DFMA) module to allow inter-phase information to fuse adaptively. All the parameters are learned in an end-to-end fashion. Extensive experiments on simulation data and real data verify the superiority of our method. The source code is available at https://github.com/jianzhangcs/SCI3D.
Sparse model is widely used in hyperspectral image classification. However, different of sparsity and regularization parameters has great influence on the classification results. In this paper, a novel adaptive sparse deep network based on deep architecture is proposed, which can construct the optimal sparse representation and regularization parameters by deep network.Firstly, a data flow graph is designed to represent each update iteration based on Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM) algorithm.Forward network and Back-Propagation network are deduced. All parameters are updated by gradient descent in Back-Propagation.Then we proposed an Adaptive Sparse Deep Network.Comparing with several traditional classifiers or other algorithm for sparse model, experiment results indicate that our method achieves great improvement in HSI classification.
We present a robust high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) snapshot multiplex spectrometer with sub-Hadamard-S matrix coding. We demonstrated for the first time that the sub-Hadamard-S matrix coding could provide comparable SNR improvement with Hadamard-S matrix in Hadamard transform spectrometer (HTS). Normally, HTS should change the coding mask to obtain a reasonable spectrum result, causing unexpected time-consuming. An extra imaging path to collect the light intensity of the aperture is added in this paper. Both light intensity of the aperture and overlapped spectra are captured within one shot, turning Hadamard-S matrix coding into sub-Hadamard-S matrix coding. Simulations and experiments show that the proposed method could obtain comparable SNR improvement with the traditional HTS, maintaining snapshot.
Fast data acquisition in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is vastly in demand and scan time directly depends on the number of acquired k-space samples. The data-driven methods based on deep neural networks have resulted in promising improvements, compared to the conventional methods, in image reconstruction algorithms. The connection between deep neural network and Ordinary Differential Equation (ODE) has been observed and studied recently. The studies show that different residual networks can be interpreted as Euler discretization of an ODE. In this paper, we propose an ODE-based deep network for MRI reconstruction to enable the rapid acquisition of MR images with improved image quality. Our results with undersampled data demonstrate that our method can deliver higher quality images in comparison to the reconstruction methods based on the standard UNet network and Residual network.
