Cycle prefix digraphs have been proposed as an efficient model of symmetric interconnection networks for parallel architecture. It has been discovered that the cycle prefix networks have many attractive communication properties. In this paper, we determine the automorphism group of the cycle prefix digraphs. We show that the automorphism group of a cycle prefix digraph is isomorphic to the symmetric group on its underlying alphabet. Our method can be applied to other classes of graphs built on alphabets including the hypercube, the Kautz graph, and the de Bruijn graph.

We introduce a quasisymmetric class function associated with a group acting on a double poset or on a directed graph. The latter is a generalization of the chromatic quasisymmetric function of a digraph introduced by Ellzey, while the latter is a generalization of a quasisymmetric function introduced by Grinberg. We prove representation-theoretic analogues of classical and recent results, including $F$-positivity, and combinatorial reciprocity theorems. We also deduce results for orbital quasisymmetric functions. We also study a generalization of the notion of strongly flawless sequences.
For a nonnegative weakly irreducible tensor $mathcal{A}$, we give some characterizations of the spectral radius of $mathcal{A}$, by using the digraph of tensors. As applications, some bounds on the spectral radius of the adjacency tensor and the signless Laplacian tensor of the $k$-uniform hypergraphs are shown.
We define a zeta function woth respect to the twisted Grover matrix of a mixed digraph, and present an exponential expression and a determinant expression of this zeta function. As an application, we give a trace formula with respect to the twisted Grover matrix of a mixed digraph.
A graph $X$ is said to be unstable if the direct product $X times K_2$ (also called the canonical double cover of $X$) has automorphisms that do not come from automorphisms of its factors $X$ and $K_2$. It is nontrivially unstable if it is unstable, connected, and nonbipartite, and no two distinct vertices of X have exactly the same neighbors. We find three new conditions that each imply a circulant graph is unstable. (These yield infinite families of nontrivially unstable circulant graphs that were not previously known.) We also find all of the nontrivially unstable circulant graphs of order $2p$, where $p$ is any prime number. Our results imply that there does not exist a nontrivially unstable circulant graph of order $n$ if and only if either $n$ is odd, or $n < 8$, or $n = 2p$, for some prime number $p$ that is congruent to $3$ modulo $4$.
Bang-Jensen, Bessy, Havet and Yeo showed that every digraph of independence number at most 2 and arc-connectivity at least 2 has an out-branching $B^+$ and an in-branching $B^-$ which are arc-disjoint (such two branchings are called a {it good pair}), which settled a conjecture of Thomassen for digraphs of independence number 2. They also proved that every digraph on at most 6 vertices and arc-connectivity at least 2 has a good pair and gave an example of a 2-arc-strong digraph $D$ on 10 vertices with independence number 4 that has no good pair. They asked for the smallest number $n$ of vertices in a 2-arc-strong digraph which has no good pair. In this paper, we prove that every digraph on at most 9 vertices and arc-connectivity at least 2 has a good pair, which solves this problem.
