We show that a complete submanifold $M$ with tamed second fundamental form in a complete Riemannian manifold $N$ with sectional curvature $K_{N}leq kappa leq 0$ are proper, (compact if $N$ is compact). In addition, if $N$ is Hadamard then $M$ has finite topology. We also show that the fundamental tone is an obstruction for a Riemannian manifold to be realized as submanifold with tamed second fundamental form of a Hadamard manifold with sectional curvature bounded below.

We study, from the extrinsic point of view, the structure at infinity of open submanifolds isometrically immersed in the real space forms of constant sectional curvature $kappa leq 0$. We shall use the decay of the second fundamental form of the the so-called tamed immersions to obtain a description at infinity of the submanifold in the line of the structural results in the papers Internat. Math. Res. Notices 1994, no. 9, authored by R. E. Greene, P. Petersen and S. Zhou and Math. Ann. 2001, 321 (4), authored by A. Petrunin and W. Tuschmann. We shall obtain too an estimation from below of the number of its ends in terms of the volume growth of a special class of extrinsic domains, the extrinsic balls.
In this paper, we investigate geometric conditions for isometric immersions with positive index of relative nullity to be cylinders. There is an abundance of noncylindrical $n$-dimensional minimal submanifolds with index of relative nullity $n-2$, fully described by Dajczer and Florit cite{DF2} in terms of a certain class of elliptic surfaces. Opposed to this, we prove that nonminimal $n$-dimensional submanifolds in space forms of any codimension are locally cylinders provided that they carry a totally geodesic distribution of rank $n-2geq2,$ which is contained in the relative nullity distribution, such that the length of the mean curvature vector field is constant along each leaf. The case of dimension $n=3$ turns out to be special. We show that there exist elliptic three-dimensional submanifolds in spheres satisfying the above properties. In fact, we provide a parametrization of three-dimensional submanifolds as unit tangent bundles of minimal surfaces in the Euclidean space whose first curvature ellipse is nowhere a circle and its second one is everywhere a circle. Moreover, we provide several applications to submanifolds whose mean curvature vector field has constant length, a much weaker condition than being parallel.
We study the volume of extrinsic balls and the capacity of extrinsic annuli in minimal submanifolds which are properly immersed with controlled radial sectional curvatures into an ambient manifold with a pole. The key results are concerned with the comparison of those volumes and capacities with the corresponding entities in a rotationally symmetric model manifold. Using the asymptotic behavior of the volumes and capacities we then obtain upper bounds for the number of ends as well as estimates for the fundamental tone of the submanifolds in question.
The purpose of the present paper to study a second order symmetric parallel tensor in generalized f.pk-space form. Second order symmetric parallel tensor in f.pk-space form is combination of the associated metric tensor and $1$-forms of structure vector fields. We prove that there does not exist second order skew-symmetric parallel tensor in f.pk-space form. We also deduce that there is no parallel hypersurface in a generalized f.pk-space form but there is semi-parallel hypersurfaces in a generalized f.pk-space form.
Two geometric inequalities are established for Einstein totally real submanifolds in a complex space form. As immediate applications of these inequalities, some non-existence results are obtained.
