New strong interactions at the LHC may exhibit a richer structure than expected from simply rescaling QCD to the electroweak scale. In fact, a departure from rescaled QCD is required for compatibility with electroweak constraints. To navigate the space of possible scenarios, we use a simple framework, based on a 5D model with modifications of AdS geometry in the infrared. In the parameter space, we select two points with particularly interesting phenomenology. For these benchmark points, we explore the discovery of triplets of vector and axial resonances at the LHC.

In this report we review recent theoretical progress and the latest experimental results in jet substructure from the Tevatron and the LHC. We review the status of and outlook for calculation and simulation tools for studying jet substructure. Following up on the report of the Boost 2010 workshop, we present a new set of benchmark comparisons of substructure techniques, focusing on the set of variables and grooming methods that are collectively known as top taggers. To facilitate further exploration, we have attempted to collect, harmonise, and publish software implementations of these techniques.
Dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking (DEWSB) has been a viable option for the completion of the standard model for over thirty years. Precision electroweak studies indicate that the new strong interactions that break EW symmetry cannot be a scaled-up copy of QCD. Building viable models of DEWSB is difficult without a detailed understanding of such non-QCD gauge theories which still confine and break chiral symmetry. We review past difficulties of studying these theories using lattice methods and describe recent progress, focusing on the role of approximate infrared conformal symmetry.

We study how the properties of the four neutralino states, chi_i (i = 1, 2, 3, 4), can be investigated at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), in the case when the lightest one, chi_1, has a mass m_chi < 50 GeV and is stable. This situation arises naturally in supersymmetric models where gaugino masses are not unified at a Grand Unified (GUT) scale and R-parity is conserved. The main features of these neutralino states are established by analytical and numerical analyses, and two scenarios are singled out on the basis of the cosmological properties required for the relic neutralinos. Signals expected at LHC are discussed through the main chain processes started by a squark, produced in the initial proton-proton scattering. We motivate the selection of some convenient benchmarks, in the light of the spectroscopical properties (mass spectrum and transitions) of the four neutralino states. Branching ratios and the expected total number of events are derived in the various benchmarks, and their relevance for experimental determination of neutralino properties is finally discussed.
Current projections suggest that the LHC will have only limited sensitivity to di-Higgs production in the Standard Model (SM), possibly even after the completion of its high luminosity phase. Multi-Higgs final states play a fundamental role in many extensions of the SM as they are intrinsically sensitive to modifications of the Higgs sector. Therefore, any new observation in multi-Higgs final states could be linked to a range of beyond the SM (BSM) phenomena that are not sufficiently addressed by the SM. Extensions of the Higgs sector typically lead to new phenomenological signatures in multi-Higgs final states that are vastly different from the SM expectation. In this work, we provide a range of signature-driven benchmark points for resonant and non-resonant BSM di-Higgs production that motivate non-SM kinematic correlations and multi-fermion discovery channels. Relying on theoretically well-motivated assumptions, special attention is devoted to the particular case where the presence of new physics will dominantly manifest itself in multi-Higgs final states.
We present cross-section expectations for various processes and collider options, for benchmark scenarios of the Inert Doublet Model, a Two Higgs Doublet Model with a dark matter candidate. The proposed scenarios are consistent with current dark matter constraints, including the most recent bounds from the XENON1T experiment and relic density, as well as with known collider and low-energy limits. These benchmarks, chosen in earlier work for studies at $e^+e^-$ colliders, exhibit a variety of kinematic features that should be explored at current and future runs of the LHC. We provide cross sections for all relevant production processes at 13 TeV, 27 TeV and 100 TeV proton collider, as well as for a possible 10 TeV and 30 TeV muon collider.
