In this paper we study the properties of diquarks (composed of $u$ and/or $d$ quarks) in the Bethe-Salpeter formalism under the covariant instantaneous approximation. We calculate their BS wave functions and study their effective interaction with the pion. Using the effective coupling constant among the diquarks and the pion, in the heavy quark limit $m_Qtoinfty$, we calculate the decay widths of $Sigma_Q^{(*)}$ ($Q=c,b$) in the BS formalism under the covariant instantaneous approximation and then give predictions of the decay widths $Gamma(Sigma_b^{(*)}toLambda_b+pi)$.

In this work we evaluate the cross section of the process $e^+e^-to J/psi eta_c$ at energy $sqrt{s}approx 10.6$ GeV in the Bethe-Salpeter formalism. To simplify our calculation, the heavy quark limit is employed. Without taking the beyond-leading-order contribution(s) into account, the cross section calculated in this scenario is comparable with the experimental data. We also present our prediction for the cross section of double bottomonium production $e^+e^-to Upsilon(1S)eta_b$ for the energy range of $sqrt{s}approx (25 hbox{-} 30)$ GeV which may be experimentally tested, even though there is no facility of this range available at present yet.
There has been important experimental progress in the sector of heavy baryons in the past several years. We study the strong decays of the S-wave, P-wave, D-wave and radially excited charmed baryons using the $^3P_0$ model. After comparing the calcul ated decay pattern and total width with the available data, we discuss the possible internal structure and quantum numbers of those charmed baryons observed recently.
In this work we study the radiative decays of heavy-light quarkonia through M1 and E1 transitions, that involve quark-triangle diagrams with two hadron vertices, and are difficult to evaluate in BSE-CIA. We have expressed the transition amplitude, $M_{fi}$ as a linear superposition of terms involving all possible combinations of $++$, and $--$ components of Salpeter wave functions of final and initial hadron, with coefficients being related to results of pole integrals over complex $sigma$- plane. We evaluate the decay widths for $M1$ transitions ($^3S_1 rightarrow ^1S_0 +gamma$), and $E1$ transitions ($^3S_1 rightarrow ^1P_0 +gamma$ and $^1P_0 rightarrow ^3S_1 +gamma$). We have used algebraic forms of Salpeter wave functions obtained through analytic solutions of mass spectral equations for ground and excited states of $0^{++},1^{--}$, and $0^{-+}$ heavy-light quarkonia in approximate harmonic oscillator basis, to calculate their decay widths. The input parameters used by us were obtained by fitting to their mass spectra. We have compared our results with experimental data and other models, and found reasonable agreements.
We study the residues of $Lambda_Q$-type baryons ($Lambda_Q$ and $Xi_Q^A$) $(Q=b,c)$ and $Sigma_Q$-type baryons ($Sigma_Q^{(ast)}$, $Xi_Q^{S(ast)}$ and $Omega_Q^{(ast)}$) in the quark-diquark model within the Bethe-Salpeter (BS) formalism. These residues can be used, for example, in the calculations of the amplitudes in the scattering processes. After constructing the baryonic currents in the BS formalism, we derive the relations between the BS wave functions and the residues for these baryons. The BS equations are solved numerically with the kernel including the scalar confinement and the one gluon exchange terms and with the covariant instantaneous approximation being employed in the calculations. Finally, we obtain the numerical values of the residues $0.103,rm GeVsim0.224,rm GeV$ for $Lambda_Q$, $0.143,rm GeVsim0.215,rm GeV$ for $Xi_Q^A$, $0.262,rm GeVsim0.361,rm GeV$ for $Sigma_Q^{(ast)}$, $0.313,rm GeVsim0.460,rm GeV$ for $Xi_Q^{S(ast)}$ and $0.473,rm GeVsim0.571,rm GeV$ for $Omega_Q^{(ast)}$ in the ranges of the parameters in our model.

In this work, we study the $Bbar{K}$ molecule in the Bethe-Salpeter (BS) equation approach. With the kernel containing one-particle-exchange diagrams and introducing two different form factors (monopole form factor and dipole form factor) in the vertex, we solve the BS equation numerically in the covariant instantaneous approximation. We investigate the isoscalar and isovector $Bbar{K}$ systems, and we find $X(5568)$ cannot be a $Bbar{K}$ molecule.
