Evaluation Study to The Current Status of Amrit and The Site Methods for the Protection and Preservation


Abstract in English

The research is an architectural study for the city of Amrit, it describes the city and specifies its values. The Study includes all the heritage parts and evaluates their conditions to determinate the problems and the interventions that make Amrit is threatened with extinction and collapse. This architectural study describes the current situation, which was previewed through the architectural lifting and viewing of the site and its surroundings in the middle of the year 2011. The study is proposed scheme to protect the site from environmental and human risks and the outline of another to maintain it and make recommendations for taking actions and laws that are necessary for the protection of the archaeological site and legislation and prevent the deterioration of it.
