The Study of Effect of Cooling System Parameters on High Chromium Cast Iron Roll Fire Fatigue Utilized in Hot Steel Rolling

Abstract in English

In this work a computer model based on finite difference method is developed to calculate the temperatures and thermal stresses/strains within the roll under various cooling system parameters for High Chromium Cast Iron Roll, and study of the effect of each parameter on thermal Fatigue phenomena in this roll.
