Evaluation of the pubertal growth period using the calcification stages and open apex measurement of the maxillary canine


Abstract in English

The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the development of the maxillary canine can be used for prediction of pubertal growth spurt in the Syrian population. The study group consisted of 150 boys, 142 girls ranging in age from 10, 16 years.
