The goal of study is determination of the lithological properties of Messinian deposits in Al –Bahloulieh region, by study the quality and the mineral composition of these deposits. Study of geological sections and rock samples reveals that it has composition from carbonate – sulphate deposits. The study of microscopic samples had done by polarization microscope for determination of petrographical and lithological composition. The result of microscopic study confirms existence of gypsum as granular form, limestone, clay, sand, marle and in addition of some dissolution phenomena and sediment-hilled fissures. In our study, we distinguishe four different lithological units had been done.
