Abstract in English

The research aims to identify the nature of the relationship between the emotional equilibrium and the method of solve problems in a sample of first year students in the College of Education at the University of Damascus, The significance of the differences in performance was revealed on the emotional equilibrium scale, which is due to two variables: gender and specialization among the research sample, On the scale of the problem solving method, which is attributed to two variables: gender and competence in the research sample. The research sample reached (190) students, (80) males and (110) females of the first year students in the Faculty of Education. The researcher used the questionnaire of emotional balance and method of solving problems, which are prepared after verifying their sincerity and stability.
