Common Errors Analysis in mathematics Among Key Stage Two Students in Basic Education in The County of Homs


Abstract in English

The research aimed at recognising the Common Errors in mathematics among Grade Seven students in basic education in the Governorate of Homs, and the most important reasons of these Common Errors, in addition, it aimed to put a group of suggestions that might be used for correcting or minimizing such errors. The plan has been applied to 217 male and female grade seven students in basic education during the school year 2016-2017. The researcher analysed the contents of unit two topics in mathematics book for grade seven in basic education in the Syrian Arab Republic. The researcher has prepared a diagnostic test made of (28) questions in Algebraic phrases and equations issues.
