This study aimed at exploring the learning styles favored by Mutah University students, and to determine if they are varied due to gender and major. The sample of the study consisted of (490) students; (220 males, 270 females; (305) social sciences majors, whereas (185) scientific majors), which are randomly chosen during the summer semester 2004/2005. The Torrance Inventory “Your Style of Learning and Thinking – form A” was administered to the members of the sample, and their responses on this inventory were analyzed. The results of the study indicated that the favored learning style by students was the left, right and the integrative respectively.
