Abstract in English
The aim of this study is to determine the prevalence of
pulmonary hydatid cysts, determine the best approach of surgical
treatment, and determine the outcomes of hydatid disease in, isolated or
coexisting pulmonary or extrapulmonary hydatidosis.
The study was conducted at the Department of
Thoracic Surgery at Damascus University, between January 1993 and
December 2002, on 206 patients
