The Relation Between Dental Anesthetic and Puls and Blood Pressure


Abstract in English

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between dental anesthetic and pulse and blood pressure. A sample of 600 patients was taken randomly ( 322 males - 278 females). The research was done on patients by giving dental anesthetic with and without adrenaline . The results of the study indicated that: - The heart rate and blood pressure of the patients receiving an injection of xylocaine without adrenaline increased by average of 4% -5% respectively. - The heart rate and blood pressure of the patients receiving an injection of xylocain with adrenaline increased by average of 12%-15% respectively. - the heart rate and blood pressure were mesured after 15 minutes we found that there was not any change in the value from the previous result. - when the heart rate and blood pressurewere mesured after 30 minuts hour we found that: - The heart rate and blood pressure returned to the normal value in case an injection without adrenaline . -in case an injection with adrenaline the heart rate increase by 1 puls The blood pressure l increased by 1 cm.m.
