Studies have proven that the indicatingpressure chart of marine engine cylinder can providemany information not only about pressure, but also about a large number of parameters that are useful in enhancing engine performance. Therefore, in this research paper, we attempt to study the indicators that complete the physical image of the work cycle. This attempt uses an elaborate and comprehensive mathematical model for obtaining and using these parameters in order to form a clear image of the work cycle based on the dynamics of heat release in the cylinder, for the purposes of enhancing performance and achieving a more efficient, more economical mechanical operation. As a result we will reach a number of conclusions and recommendations which, upon being approved and used, can help to achieve with great mathematical accuracy a more optimized characteristic of the work cycle.
