This study aimed to recognize the importance of identifying the
requirements for achieving decentralization in elementary and secondary
schools in Syrian Arab Republic as perceived by headmasters.
The study used the descriptive method; A Questionnaire was
constructed for this purpose, which consisted of (50) items.
Hypotheses dealt with the importance of decentralization according
to the headmasters points of view in elementary and secondary schools
and according to the variable of experience scientific and educational
qualification of the headmasters experience).
