Finding the optimum rate of burnishing force using in polishing Al-6061 by ball burnishing technique


Abstract in English

In this research, the optimum rate of burnishing force for burnishing samples of Al-6061 was found, in order to have the best finish of the surface . Different tests were carried out on samples of Al-6061 by application different values of burnishing force without changing the other parameters of the ball burnishing operation . The experiences were carried out by using ball burnishing tool and CNC milling machine with three-axis .
